Extremely nice, extremely skilled with the brazilian

After a horrifying brazilian experience at Le Petite Retreat Day Spa, I went to Kenya based on the reviews here. As everyone has stated, she is AWESOME! She was very warm and comforting and the brazilian was actually not that painful! I also got my eyebrows done by her and was getting compliments for a week after! I went to her a few more times, but because I live kind of far, I tried finding someone else in my area. I went to Westwood Waxing Studio based on a friend's recommendation. The lady there was....ok. For me, Kendra is still the reigning queen of brazilans. She is quick, very thorough, and somehow makes a brazilian practically painless. Despite the distance, I will continue going to see her. Plus, she has a student discount!

• Pros: Friendly, sanitary, expert at hair removal, easy and convenient parking next door
• Cons: NONE...really

Best skin care--brazilians and facials (face and back)

Kenya is definitely an expert at what she does. She is very patient and will make you feel ultra comfortable. Kenya's knowledge of skin (any type) is amazing. I was a first timer when I started with Kenya and now I am a loyal client. I was also referred to her by one of her current clients. I love Kenya's work and highly recommend her service. Definitely super model treatment Ms Kenya

Most comfortable BRAZILIAN in LA

I have been one of Kenya's clients for a little over a year now and I would never go to anyone else for this intricate Brazilian bikini wax. The amazing little studio that she has at Chess and Burman is extremely comfortable and you feel at home walking in and sitting on the couches in the hallway and reading the plethora of magazines while waiting for your appointment. It's much more comfortable for me than sitting in close quarters awkwardly in front of a receptionist. Also, I am a college student and Kenya has made wonderfully affordable prices for my friends and I and she has always been able to fit me into her schedule! Kenya makes a special effort to accommodate all of her clients and I doubt you would feel as comfortable anywhere else!

• Pros: Atmosphere, BEST BRAZILIAN!
• Cons: parking can be a little confusing the first visit, but Kenya gives you all the info before!

best facials

let's face it, i love facials, so i've become somewhat of a facial snob. and a critic. everybody wants to be pampered when it comes to getting a facial, especially when hard earned money is involved. some places make an impression-if you get my drift-and kenya at studio 41 was no exception. wasn't i so pleasantly surprised then, by not only getting a luxurious facial, but by also receiving such star treatment. her studio is like an oasis of warmth and relaxation, the music, thankfully, is not typical but so good, and kenya is absolutely delightful. she is able to read off your mood within the first 2 minutes, so if you're interested in being a chatty cathy, she's right there with you-excellent conversation, i might add. if you're in the mood for a little solitude and down time, you can count on kenya to lull you into complete relaxation. and perhaps you'd like to know a little about what kind of products she's using-you've never met someone as enthused or knowledgeable about products as kenya is. my multiple experiences with kenya have been amazing and i recommend her to all of my friends and colleagues.

word of advise: grab two birds with one stone and have her take care of all your waxing needs as well-you won't be disappointed!

Great for guys too

First of all I'm a guy and no metrosexual. I was in town for a ball game last week. My wife has been bugging me about getting a facial for months so I said what the hell no one's gonna know in LA, right? My friend Jacoby's girlfriend recommended Kenya's. so off I went. I gotta admit it really felt good. You know that old expression look sharp , feel sharp well that was exactly how I felt when I left Kenya's. I even went back and told my boss Tito that he should get one. Oh by the way Kenya's really hot. Too bad, guys, she's already married but I heard her husband's a real loser.

Kenya is fabulous. She makes the bikini waxes fly by with great conversation and makes you feel at ease. I recommend her to anyone from the experienced "wax-ee" to the intimated first timer.

Best Skin Care Aesthetician in LA!

I have been going to Kenya for almost two years now and wouldn't trust my skin to anyone else. Her zeal for skin care is contagious and has definitely forced me to step up my regimen. If you have never had a facial, she is the person to visit for your first time. She will talk you through the process then explain how you can maintain your post-facial glow at home. I have terribly sensitive skin, which Kenya has tended through everything from post-debauchery dehydration and wind burn to post wax flare-ups. While Kenya does stock pricier skin care products, she also offers budget friendly alternatives you can purchase on your own. She has recommendations and helpful solutions for any skincare need. I would recommend Kenya to any and everyone for a wonderful and educational skin care experience.

Most amazing facials in the world!

Kenya's facials are the most fabulously healing, comforting, skin-loving, self-caring thing I have ever experienced. My skin has never looked better. I find her decadent facials to be even more relaxing than a full body massage, and as a result have started giving gift certificates to friends. It's a divine experience!

Wow...cannot say enough about Kenya's many skills and talents.Not only does she give a great Brazilian(makes ya as comfortable as can be),but her facials are to die for~!! I am a jaded ,born and bred in Westwood girl.,Been to everyone and back,since I was 14,,from Korea town to Beverly Hills. I am sticking and staying put with this lovely lady!

Finally...I found a fantastic facialist!

After being here in LA for 3 1/2 years I finally found a place that I love! I have tried a variety of salons and spas for facials and left many after feeling something was missing. Kenya has it all! She is warm, kind, professional and very knowledgeable about skincare and the products that she uses (which are the BEST/BioElements). The facial room was warm and inviting, the music relaxing, the facial bed was warm and Kenya's facial technique is wonderful. Kenya discussed all my skin concerns, but allowed a quiet relaxing environment while doing the facial. She even gave a great hand massage while my mask was on! The prices are fantastic, she has very convienent hours and parking was easy. What more could you ask for? I am hooked! Thank you Kenya!
