carmody delivered my wedding invitations beyond the date I needed as they overlooked the deadline I requested them by; I dealt with one employee who then went on vacation right before the invitation printing and dumped the job on the store manager; their computer and printer could not print the addresses on the invitations and my only option was to have someone print them, which turned out to look very unprofessional. When I paid for the invitations, their credit card scanner did not work and then the scanner continued to debit and reverse the same charge against my debit card. Oy! i'll never go back till carmody gets their act together.
Pros: variety of stationery
Cons: parking is impossible; customer service and reliability of on-site equipment

The ladies at Carmody & Co are GREAT! I walked in with only a vague idea of what I wanted for my daughter's birthday party invitations and not much time to spare. I needed the invites designed and printed by Monday at the latest and it's Wednesday afternoon. They helped me pick an invite, figure out the wording and agreed to have it designed and printed by 3:00 PM on Friday so I could hand out at school before the weekend. Talk about service! And, like I need to say more, they also agreed on the spot to donate an auction item for the upcoming auction at my daughter's school. I will go back there for all my invitation needs. It was a great shopping experience!

The people that work here are so friendly and just all-around great, in terms of service and knowledge as well. I worked directly with the Owner who has tons of experience, and the store Manager (Marci), who has high energy and get's you excited about the card you make. They treated me with 100% attention and satisfaction. I will ALWAYS get my invitations done here since they have Graphic artists located right in the store...so I don't have to wait for them to send it out to get the proof back a week later just to say I need corrections done. The parking may seem difficult but there is actually a public garage just to the left of the store. I highly suggest you go and see them for your occasion!!!
Pros: Beautiful work, done by wonderful people
Cons: They are on a corner, so it may be hard to find parking
