A friend and I are interested in using the building for a new/ cooler bar, with NICE servers and food. Does anyone know who owns the place? Thank you!

My boyfriend and I went for the first time a few weeks ago on a Saturday night. The food was good and the service was nice. The staff was friendly incuding security which is rare. Go to Hollywood and you get nothing but attitude from security/bouncers......but not here. We had no drama getting in and had a blast. The crowd was mixed, all types, all ages and no drama. The music was the best part......danced all night! I guess you really just have to go check it out and see for yourself.

Don't waste your TIME!!!! Nice looking place. The food is one step above Jack in the Box once you get past the chips. Same Old DJ. Same Old club atmosphere. Don't know how they spent 3 million dollars, they must have a weird idea of how to run a business. The staff is not friendly, and the management has a bitchy attitude, Stay away from Brianna, she does not know how to be nice. Another typical wanna be actress. They can't be taken seriously, club won't last more than six months. You're better off eating at the Panda across the street, and take the metro to Edison (now that is a real Club) in downtown L.A. SPEND YOUR MONEY WISELY.

I went for the first time a few weeks ago and I have been back four times since. I'm a little reluctant to write too good of a review and then it will get too crowded. Best happy hour deal in town..get this $5 drafts that include Guiness, newcastle and stella and $5 pecan crusted wings (finally a place in LA that does wings right!), mac n chesse, burgers and fish n chips. The bartender (Jay) is everything you want from a bartender, attentive, healthy pours and he can talk sports with the best of em. For dinner, their Bank Burger (blu cheese and bacon need I say more?) with sweet potato fries are so good "you can bank on it" ;-)

Pros: Food, Draft Beer Selection & Great Staff

Cons: I Don't Own It

So me a few girlfriends went to the club the other night to let off some steam! This place was just what the dr. order. The DJ was spinning a mix of the funnest dance music, I don't think I sat down once!! Our drinks came fastm were strong and our cocktail server was sooo damn hot if she would have smiled one more time I swear I'd turn bi! Call me old fashioned but I still smoke and loved the smoking patio (great place to meet guys btw), the upstairs lounge was so grogeous I wish I could live there. A note too all of you pretentious little boys..there are plenty of dive bars in the valley where you can pretend your still in your frat house. So you can't wear short and flip flops, so there is a short line to get in on some nights, so they have velvet ropes, get over it and stop taking life so seriously. This place rocks and we all had a blast, that's all I need for good place near my apt. Will be back again and next time, I'm going to try the restaurant.

Pros: Convenient, hot staff, great vibe

Cons: Wish they sold cigs

I wouldn't reckomend the Bank Heist as the first on my list for night destinations even if you live in North Hollywood. The atmosphere is somewhat trendy but just sort of feels like a bar trying to pass itself off as a nightclub. The setup isn't all that exciting and our female bartender was really rude and not very attentive with drinks. It just felt very mediocre and left me with a been there done that feeling. If your going out and spending your hard earned money then I say there are better places to go enjoy yourself.

Cons: Not exciting

I reserved a table for a buddies' birthday on 12/7; Man, I must say, the worst service. Their back-boy did more than everyone else. So I made the reservation two weeks in advance. The guy I spoke with did not make the reservations at all. Whenever I would call and ask for this guy he was never around and everyone didn't seem to know where the "VIP list" or "Guest list" was. So I let that slide, until I finally go a hold of this guy, after which he asks me to make a list of my guests (understandable) but on the night of? Come dude on! If I needed a guest list you should have told me the day we spoke. In addition, we get there and they don't have a table for us. They close the upper part where the VIP room is located and give us a b.s. table in the first floor where only 1/8 of my guests can hardly fit and socialize. So, after thirty minutes of waiting for the 250 bottle, they tell us that we can go up stairs but not the VIP room because it’s closed, for no REASON at all! So, I say okay, no problem. I sit down and half my guests had already said good bye because they felt uncomfortable there. I look around and I see another bottle, that's already opened. I asked for the bill and they give me a 500 bill. I knew it! They threw in an extra bottle, those sneaky bastards. Not cool. Not fun. Friday is not a good night for dancing. Never again. By the way I had been there several times before just for a drink and I thought of it as a five star place. Too bad they just lost this customer.

Pros: Poor service

Cons: Nice looking place

I went to dinner with some friends to The Bank last week, there were 5 of us and they sat us in a very awkward table in the corner, hard to have a conversation in. Our server was ok, not overly or underly attentive. The food marginal, I think the best thing was the free chips they have on the tables for snacking. The menu is kind of all over the place. I think I would try it again in a few months, after they work out the kinks.

I guess Bank Heist isn't for everybody. To me, being that there are plenty of dive bars, dumps, and seedy clubs in the valley already, I'm quite happy to see a more upscale club join the scene out here. I hear people complaining about a cover, but it's 5 bucks. If 5 bucks is a big issue to you, maybe you should stay in and rent a movie...oh wait, that's 5 bucks too. I heard the club was the new hotspot for house music, being that Ken Jordan (from The Crystal Method) and Chris Cox are resident DJs on Thursday Nights, and while I havn't been able to make it on a thursday yet, I did make it in last Friday night and WOW! The DJ downstairs was playing hiphop and top40 which isn't really my thing, but it's nice that there are 2 levels with different music, so people have a choice. I ventured upstairs towards the sound of that heavy kick drum and spent 4 hours dancing my butt off! The DJ Upstairs (DJ Michael Basic he introduced himself as after his set) was absolutely incredible! He played hard, the energy was amazing, and he moved the crowd all night long! If you're a fan of House music, you need to check this guy out! He said he plays House music fridays upstairs and top40 downstairs on Saturdays. He gave out some CDs, and I've got the one he gave me on repeat in my car. Drink prices are what you'd expect from a joint like this...you aren't gonna get a $3 beer here...that's for sure. All in all, if you're looking for a hollywood-esque scene without all the hollywood BS, this is the place to be. Great music, great soundsystem, amazing staff, and it's in the Valley, so you don't have to go over the hill (unless you live over the hill, then this might just be an excuse for you to come out this way!) Bank Heist definately isn't for everybody, but it's definately worth checking out to see if it's for you. I'll be there as much as I can on Fridays! I'll be the one with my hands in the air...but not the only one!

Pros: Great music, sound system, and staff

Cons: None Yet
