Carlos is FANTASTIC. No, really. He is.

What a great hair cut I got! I went to Carlos because of the reviews I found on citysearch, and I was not disappointed. I think my hair is difficult to do a good job on because I usually get bad hair cuts, and I go to pretty nice places. But Carlos listened to what I wanted, told me what he was thinking and what he was going to do, and gave me a great shape of hair. He was friendly, wasn't at all mad that I was late, and easily represented the easy going but busy atmosphere of the salon. The thing is though, he did a good job of styling my hair at the end, which I could not successfully pull off at home, it basically needed to be a little shorter. I called him after it had already been a couple days, and he had me come in so that he could take a little more off. He was totally cool about it and just as friendly as he was before. He didn't charge me, of course, and I practically had to stick the tip into his hand to get him to take just a little something for his time. And, my hair looked amazing! $55 for a haircut is a little pricey for me, but not when I get something that looks as good as what he did. I can't wait til my hair grows out and I need another haircut, because it feels SO GOOD when he's done with you and sends you off into the world looking so damn good! DO NOT GO TO THIS STYLIST IF YOU WANT A BAD HAIR CUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I just wanted to put something in all caps followed by an army of exclamation points.

• Pros: Awesome stylist, comfortable atmosphere.
• Cons: Its not free. Wouldn't THAT be cool?

Great cut + color!

Carlos is great with coloring and trendy cuts! Gave my boyfriend's dirty blond hair a new spiced up look by putting a two-toned highlight.

Thanks for getting us the appointment so quickly. I was so worried he would shave all his hair off last week!! :)

The Man!

Carlos is an excellent stylist. He's been cutting my hair for 10 years and I'll make him continue to do so until his withered fingers fall off.

He's a great stylist who truly understands how to accentuate his clients' best features. Whether it's a cut or a color, you'll look great under his care. An added bonus is his flexibility. He works hard to ensure that he's available to his clients.

Simply the best!

Carlos has been my stylist for about 5 years now and I absolutely love him! I always get compliments on my hair, especially color, he is really great with that. One time a girl passing me on a bike even stopped and turned around to tell me how much she liked my color (it was a gorgeous copper).

I would definitely highly recommend Carlos, and I already got a couple of my friends switch over to him from their own stylists.

I made the mistake of dying my own hair one week before I was going to a friend's wedding. Definitely, my hair was ….“Blond/green”. I made a consultation with Carlos and I decided to make one appointment for the next day (He was awesome since the first consultation!!). He spent almost three hours in my hair. He fixed my hair and did highlights and haircut. I loved both!!!! I left the salon feeling much better!!!! I had an extremely pleased experience. After that, I had already recommended him to my friends and I’m his client for almost two years. Carlos rocks!!!! I highly recommend him!

I miss Carlos!

What can I say? My hair has never been the same since I left LA and my good friend Carlos. Carlos is attentive, easy to talk to--and most of all incredibly talented. The best part is, I found out about him from all the rave reviews he has on Citysearch. Believe them! You will not regret it.

Carlos is Amazing!

Carlos always gets right back to you, appointments are simple and easy to make. The salon is comfortable, centrally located in a great area and the people at the salon are the nicest. I always feel like I'm his only customer when I'm in his chair. Incredible hair every time!!

• Pros: Carlos is talented, friendly, intuitive and has a great eye.

The best highlights and cut in Los Angeles!

I have been getting my hair cut and highlighted by Carlos for the past few years. He has always done an amazing job especially considering I may have some of the thickest hair in the world;c) I am always getting compliments on my highlights and asked where I get my hair done. I always refer them to my good friend Carlos because I know he will do a fantastic job!

Strongly recommended

I found Carlos on city search and was so happy with my experience. His coloring was amazing and it was the first time I've truly loved the way my hair turned out. The salon was great and everyone was really friendly. Carlos is so nice and definitely knows his stuff. I told him to do what he wants and I'm glad I did. Having gone to many expensive salons and got mediocre service this was just the opposite. His prices are so reasonable and his coloring was much better than the others I've been to! Definitely recommend him!!
