Never received food,

Thought it would be a good place to try, but it is all about first impressions and unfortunuely we will not go back. I could't even talk about the food because we were never served. The server never came by. All we had was our full bottle of wine and stale bread. Everything was completely taken care of because of the situation, so at least there was an understanding from the house that the order was lost.

Salty food, creepy screechy music, way too expensive

I don't get this place. Everything we had was either totally bland or ridiculously salty. It was all insanely overpriced, both for the quality and the portions. The background music was so awful and so depressing it was a relief to get away from it. The staff seemed tense and nervous, even when they attempt to smile. And when you get the check, you can't believe what they charge for this nonsense. I am more than a little surprised by the positive reviews it has gotten, except to say that I work in public relations and many of these reviews sound suspiciously like what a restaurant owner might write as a press release. Hmm....

I think Little Dom's is one of the best restaurants in LA, let alone Silverlake. Brunch is the best deal in town, the ricotta pancakes are "insane" and worth every penny, and "hello" the wild boar bacon...........we (my girlfriend and I) have 3-4 plates plus the $10 bottle of Presecco deal, and our bill is no more than $45 including tip.

They have the best italian tuna sandwich other than my mother's..........The pizza's are flat and crispy and delicious. The wait staff is good. It's better to make a reservation, but you can just show up, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table........I LVOE it!!

We had to wait forever for a table after having made reservations. Like over 25 minutes!....The fish was good but came ala carte....a bit pricey for a filet of fish...the fried chokes were delicious! Great wine too....but a bit overpriced and hyped up for a plate of fish and a glass of wine....could of had the same for half price a few blocks up!

AWFUL AND WAY OVER-PRICED!!!

We recently moved to the Los Feliz area, and thought it would be fun to try this place, so we called to make a reservation for my husbands birthday. We showed up for our 7:00 reservation, and were told we would still have to wait an hour for our table! This was very annoying on several levels, 1) there were empty tables everywhere 2) I had mentioned that this was a special occasion when I made the reservation and 3) then what is the point of a reservation??? Anyway, we were determined to enjoy the evening so we went to the bar for a drink while we wait. Ordered our drinks, and the bartender went on and on like a used car salesman trying to get us to buy more expensive drinks. Just want what we ordered! So an hour and ten minutes later we are told the table is ready. Our waiter seemed nice and we were starving at this point, so we ordered a salad, grilled shrimp with leeks, squid ink pasta and the meatball sandwich. The salad was so ridiculously salty we barely touched it. The grilled shrimp was 4 tiny little shrimp, for that price?? All this time, we are trying really hard to find the bright side. Get our main courses, the pasta looked as though they had just tossed it with a bunch of canned tuna and a half cup of yet more salt, and the meatball sandwich was ICE COLD!!! We politely let our waiter know that we were unhappy with the meal, and a minute later some girl wearing ripped up clothing and chipped nailpolish was apologizing to us, this is a manager I guess? Anyway, she comped one dessert for us, not much considering!!! I promised my husband to take him to a better restaurant the next night, lesson learned! Never again, just can't reccomend it!

Excellent Neighborhood Dining

Little Dom's has a warm atmosphere and a delicious menu with both traditional and unique items on it. For those who are more traditional, the margarita pizza and spaghetti and meatballs are divine!

Whether you are sat in a big booth, table in the middle, or right up at the bar you will get nothing but outstanding, friendly service.

Amazing food, all of it.

Both times I have been to Little Dom's I was more than impressed, I was ecstatic about the food. Everything we ordered was excellent, and we kept making those little noises that mean you like it.

The only downside, perhaps because we were sitting in the outdoor sidewalk section, was a lack of prompt customer service. The food arrived relatively quickly, that was not the problem, it was more a lack of attentiveness from our server. Oddly, enough, the other guys came pretty quick to fill our water and take our finished plates away. But when it was time to order dessert, or pay the bill, we had to wait for a long time.

Regardless, I will go back again, the food is more than worth any bit of a service delay! Bon Appetite!
