My boyfriend and I went to STK on Saturday at 7pm because it was the only reservations they had available. The restaurant had just open for dinner and it was empty yet we were rushed through our dinner in 45 minutes! The waitress and busboys hovered like sharks around our table to grab plates from us every 5 minutes. Our steaks came within 10 minutes after getting our appetizer; most restaurants will give you time between courses before they bring the next one out! We watched other tables around us receive the same kind of rushing as well too. We ordered the “in bone” filets which were very dry and tasteless even with the Bold STK sauce or Blue butter. We had the sweet corn pudding and truffles fries as sides which either one was remarkable. As soon as our dinner plates were taken away, the waitress came back to ask us about dessert and we ordered sherbet which came to the table within two minute. (Yes, we timed it!) We spent $200 on a dinner for 45 minutes which wasn’t satisfying or relaxing! We were shocked when the waitress came back to pick up the check from the table right after we sign it like she was trying to get us the hell out because we had been too long! It was just rude! If you really want an excellent steak dinner that you will enjoy and not be rushed through then try Dakota in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel! The price and quality of food is superior plus with great service!
