Don't Frown if the Market's Down!
by Ikeka79
The Parlor is adding an extra bonus to their Happy Hour to save you some cash during these hard economic times.
The Parlor's Happy Hour is from 4-8pm everyday (excluding holidays and major sporting events) and includes $3 drafts, $4 well drinks, and $5 house wines. There are discounts on appetizers and many different Sliders to choose from for $1.50 each.
Starting Monday, July 13th, The Parlor will drop their Happy Hour drink prices an extra dollar if the Dow Jones Industrial Average closes in the red.
So Don't Frown if the Market's Down! You have $2 drafts, $3 well drinks, and $4 house wines to look forward to.
Did someone mention drinks after work?... Check the Dow! Did the Dow close in the red again?... A reason to go to The Parlor for Happy Hour!
Try finding drinks at these prices in this town.
- Pros: Cheapest Happy Hour in LA
Lots of TV's and Great Happy Hour!
by JMAdance04
This bar is just around the corner from my house so I frequent often! Great happy hour specials from 4pm-8pm including $1.50 sliders, yum! It is super loud in there all the time from all of the TV's and the waitresses seem to get busy fast. But if you're looking for a great spot for a couple drinks, good friend and watch a game, count on the Parlor!
- Pros: Happy Hour, Sliders, Drinks, TV's
- Cons: Loud, Service
Great Sports Bar
by mkwku
The Parlor is a fantastic place to watch a game. I have been going here since it opened and I feel like it is now my 2nd living room. The food is good, the bartenders are great, and they will always put your game on and if you call enough in advanced they will give you sound too =)! It is also a great spot to do group gatherings, it has satisfied charity groups to school alumni groups, to private birthday parties! Love this place.
- Pros: They Get Every Game

Good time.
by jbails1075
Every time I go in there I have a great time. The atmosphere is really mellow on the weekdays and crazy fun on the weekends (crowded though). I've never had bad service there and I think the staff is pretty good. Beerpong is pretty fun too. I've never been a huge fan of sports bars, so for me, it's a sports bar without the meat heads. I like it.
- Pros: Fun atomosphere, good drinks.
- Cons: kind of crowded

Horrible management
by choads
Bartender good. Food cold and slow. Management unresponsive. Good luck, but you'll never get MY money again.
Worst service ever
by thaitina
This place has the worst service ever. Went there for happy hour the other day. The bartender would rather watch the game than serve the patrons. The waitresses were even worse. They asked to hold a credit card for our appetizer orders. She then came right back with the bill swiped on the credit card before the food even came out. We wanted to pay in cash. And whenever she would check on us - she would just stare at the bill to see if we've signed it yet even before we got the food. We asked her where our food was but she just walked off and ignored us. This place has the most horrible service ever. If you want to go to a place that does not care about their patrons at all go here.
- Cons: terrible service
Happy Hour!!!
by KevBacon
My favorite happy hour West of the 405 (of course, I rarely go East). I live in the heart of Venice near plenty of bars/restaurants with impressive happy hour deals, but haven't found anything that beats The Parlor.
Beer prices are great; selection is vast but average (lots of taps, but they are mostly American/Import lagers with some good brews mixed in). Liquor/wine prices are good too, but I rarely stray from beer.
Food is good-to-great. Appetizers are well above average. Love the fried ravioli, quesadillas, and sweet potato fries. Don't eat meals a lot, but haven't been disappointed when I have. Heard great things about salads, but I eat meat.
The staff does a great job taking care of the customers. Bartenders and waitstaff are friendly and responsive. Never seen anyone go thirsty. Do a great job remembering you and treating you right.
Does well serving multiple audiences. Games on TV for sports fan, trivia for the die-hard competitors, DJs late at night for those who need to move, upstairs porch for smokers. Has several separate areas (game room: air hockey & video games, outdoor smoking, bar area, table seating, & private couches) to please most crowds.
Great at Happy Hour. Good all night. Top-notch sports bar with good food and great staff. Weekend nights get a bit "scene-y" so choose your night if you want to avoid (or encounter) crowds.
- Pros: Happy hour, wait staff
good at being a sportsbar, good at being a club, great at being neither
by gengenuscgal
This placed is pretty cool during the week but I generally avoid it on the weekends. It gets SO PACKED!!! Not pleasantly busy so that its filled with interesting people but slammed so you can't move. And my girls and I usually get walked in right away but it seems like guys will have to wait a while. My roomie's boyfriend was stuck outside for a half an hour last week after we walked right in:(
