Trustworthy and learn an invaluable tip!

This was my year for a smog check and luckily I received a coupon for this establishment because I really didn't know where to go or who to trust. So, I not only saved money, the business is trustworthy. If you don't pass, your second test is free! The test took only 10 minutes and I didn't have to wait. Not only was I treated professionally and friendly -- the owner drove my car into the stall and the technician chatted me up like a human being and not just another number -- the staff was knowledgeable and helpful about the next steps in receiving my registration. They gave me a very good tip on how to bypass the DMV's lengthy wait for stickers. As a AAA Member (hint), this info was golden. Take your car there if you want to learn the tip and if you want great service!

Quick & Pleasant experience - NO HASSLE

It was a pleasant surprise for me, being a young woman to go into an auto shop and not feel like you're being taken advantage of because most women don't know a lot about cars. The attendant didn't try to take me for a fool and helped me just as he did the gentlemen that came in before me. I was happy and felt like I got a fair deal. It was certainly refreshing to get what you paid for - in and out no hassle no problems not a bunch of money out of my pocket. Last minute smog checks - National Test only #2 will HELP YOU

I waited 'till last day before my DMV registration was due to get my car smog check done and I was in the area so I went into the National Test only on 2025 S La Cienega Bl. and was out of there in no time and made it to DMV and took care of my registration. I was impressed. It was a quick and painfull experience and as a woman I'm always hesitant about going into auto shops because we always get taken advantage of - but not this place. The attendance was nice, professional and helpful. I will go back or recommend anyone that needs to get a quick and fast service - DON'T HESITATE TO GO.

I was in and out very quickly with no appointment. Very friendly and efficient. I got a nice cold bottle of water while waiting which was very hospitable! . Definitely recommend this place for those who want a nice, friendly, fast way to take care of business.

Rude, Lied about Prices (Coupon Does Not Make Up for Inflated Charges) - AVOID!

I found the $15 off coupon through CitySearch, which was enough to intrigue me, so I called to find out how much they charged for the smog test on my particular model of car. He told me $40 and I said I'd be right there. When I arrived, the service area appeared to be empty, so I stood in the waiting area for a few minutes trying to figure out how to summon someone. When there was a particularly loud explosion on the television going in the background I realized that the guy working there was actually hiding behind a partition watching TV. Once I finally got his attention he took my coupon and told me the smog check would be $55 (regularly it's the exorbitant price of $59.95). I told him that the man on the phone had quoted me $40, and the attendant said, "Well, he's not here now." He was not only unapologetic, but also spoke as if the "misunderstanding" were my fault. I chose not to have my smog check done there, so I cannot comment on the quality of service, but because they both lied to me and were rude, I urge you to AVOID National Smog #2.
