Go See Scott- Great Salon and Staff

Just had my second cut at Salon Pure, and it's phenomenal*** The first one was great, but the second was more of a risk since I was going from shoulder length layers to a chin length bob. Scott took almost an hour just cutting my hair, first wet then dried and flat ironed then tousled...standing, sitting, moving, he took every angle into account to create the perfect modern little bob with fringe layers in the front. LOVE IT*** I know 2 people who have also gone to him and love their cuts as much as I love mine. Great salon, super nice staff*

• Cons: Downtown, Parking- $6 lot across the street

If u want a great cut, the best treatment and cool people..... COME TO SALON PURE!!!! I love it there, wouldnt go anywhere else. Tonantzin pulls miracles off! ;-) U guys are awesome!!

Thank god for Salon Pure! My boyfriend and I both have had only the best experiences with Tonantzin and the whole team! They really listen to the clients' needs and deliver a consistently great color or cut. As someone who changes her hair frequently, I appreciate the stylists' versatility and professionalism. It's definitely one of downtown's gems!

if you want an excellent hair cut and excellent service try this place. Tonantzin listened to me and gave me her professional opinion which was great!!! I've finally found a stylist who I will trust and recommend to people. I have alot of hair and have had very, very bad experiences where I thought to myself, I'll never find a quality cut but after I met Tonantzin I now know that I'll have that healthy hair I've always wanted. Thank you Tonantzin!!!!

Quality Downtown Salon

I have been twice & both experiences at Salon Pure have been great! From the gracious receptionist, Emily, to the talented stylists that I have worked with, Scott, Tonantzin & Judy...everyone has been wonderful. (Emily takes extra time to massage your scalp while shampooing...I swear I almost fell asleep twice!) :) My hair color (ala Judy and Tonantzin) has been a great success both times and I love the way my hair looks after Scott has had his way with the scissors! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Great customer service...great energy...beautiful space. Thank you Salon Pure... so glad to have a quality local salon in Downtown!!

SCOTT SAVED MY LIFE

I went into Pure with a horrible haircut I had gotten elsewhere. I was nearly in tears. As soon as I walked in the staff turned their attention to me while I explained what had happened. They were all so kind and sympathetic. Scott immediately started looking me over and explaining what he'd have to do to fix it. He was meticulous and I knew I was in good hands. You can't even tell that someone butchered by hair. It's the cut I would have wanted in the first place. Thanks again to Salon Pure! You guys are great....you made my week!

The best cut and color I have ever had!

I had my hair done by Tonantzin last week and she did a incredible job! I have had so many compliments on my hair, and Im passing out her cards like crazy! Im sure she will be getting many phone calls shortly!!! The salon had such a great vibe, and everyone was very nice and helpful! Go get your hair done there!!!

Very Personalized Service - Amazing Overall

I had my hair styled by Tonantzin and she did a wonderful job. Less expensive than the pricier spots in LA, but very personalized service and a great outcome. She colored and cut my hair and really listened to what I wanted. I got a nice little scalp massage too which was a treat. She also took her time and cared that I liked the results. Nice job.

best salon in LA

This was the best experience at a salon I have ever had. I have never written a review before but felt I needed to let others know what an exceptional place this was. The staff was friendly and inviting (which is rare for Los Angeles) the salon was clean and well decorated, everything about it was perfect. I love my hair cut and my eyebrows look great! I will for sure go back and recommend this place to everyone.
