Great menu & Great service!

I am at Bacaro frequently and have had just about everything on their menu! Everything is very good and the changing menu keeps things fresh and fun. The servers and owners are friendly and conscientious. Best new place around!

Owned by two USC grads sharing a love of wine, Santos Uy (Silver Lake Wine, A.O.C.) and partner Danny Kronfli have created a stylish haven for university grad students, profs and adventurous Eastsiders. "Bacari" are Venetian wine bars (named after the wine god Bacchus); the ever-changing list culls from varietals around the world, but there's a definite focus on more obscure, small-production Italian wines. A stunning backlit wine bottle ceiling and reclaimed barnwood tables host the crowd talking politics and snacking on "cicheti" (Venetian tapas) like braised beef shanks, crostino with gorgonzola, polenta with baby roasted eggplant, panini and cheese plates.
