Great food and service!!
by morenachica at Citysearch
The service is great. I was attended right away and never had to wait for a refill. The food was very good. I don't like trying new places but this was definitely one of the best places I have been to recently.
- Pros: The service!
Taste buds go nuts with all the great flavors

Kreation Kafe has all the elements for an awesome food experience. Every time I've gone there I've fallen more in love with it than the last! The food is like nothing I've had before. It's so good that you almost think it's unhealthy when it's actually some of the most healthy food you can eat! The service is great and the owner is usually there talking to everyone, making it obvious that she cares. THE LIVE ART AND MOVIE NIGHTS! so perfect! perfect for a night out with friends or even a great place to take a date. This place really makes you feel like you've stepped out of LA and into New York. I go here all the time and wish I could go in more!
- Pros: everything!
- Cons: nothing!
best kept secret in SAMO for outstanding food
by podference at Citysearch
you can taste the love and attention they put in the menu. I'm not surprised they are certified green and organic by city of santa monica. I really like their sample platter after a 2 hour long yoga session. it's light and replenishes immediately....sometimes a little kamboocha to top it off. Def worth checking out .... look out, you might get hooked.
- Pros: food, price, service, location, quality, quantity
- Cons: can't think of any
good food for the most part

My husband and i were going to Father's Office but alas it was packed with no where to sit... so we looked across the street and saw Kreation. He was skeptical..
We ordered the sampler plate for an appetizer- so good and huge! We then ordered the beef kabob to share and it was also pretty good. Our waiter was friendly but could have been around a bit more as it was not busy at all. They also let us bring in our own beer from the Blind Duck- so we got to drink what we wanted after all.
The second time i went with a girl friend of mine and was less thrilled about the service. The food was still great... oh they also brought us bottled water when we did not ask for it. Sort of annoying... i don't need to pay 4$ for a tiny smart water.
- Pros: fresh tasty food
- Cons: sevice could be better
Yum!

Yummy!!! Dinner prices were a bit steep but since I live in the neighborhood, I've also been to breakfast and lunch. All of it has been very good and prices for B & L are better!
Stupid name, not-so-stupid food
by kiercemartin at Citysearch
Ok admittedly this place could be renamed Gunga Din's Indian Food, and be just about as close to truly branding their restaurant as "Kreation Kafe" comes, but the name aside this is a great Montana cafe with a unique atmosphere and even better food. It's definitely close quarters in there like a lot of Montana avenue cafes, but the lack of space is well worth the food. Classic mediterranean, but all prepared organically and all really good. It's hard to go wrong with any seafood or pasta fare here, and even the sandwiches are a cut above. With decor to match their green mindset, the only thing that misses about this place is truly the name.
Closest thing to a picnic I've found in Santa Monica

The food is fresh, organic, flavorful and unique. I loved the combinations on the cold and hot vegetarian sample plates. My friend and I enjoyed our lunch while sitting on the sidewalk, people watching and taking in the day. The service was efficient and friendly. I sensed some excitement about the place, because it's so new, I guess. Now that's a treat in Los Angeles.
Who cares about the name?
by RogerJackson at Citysearch
No one gives a damn about the name, except an effete language snob of a Citysearch editor. The food is excellent, remarkably healthy in a city that has a surprising absence of organic eateries, the service is reasonably efficient, the ambience is fine. I especialy like the big communal table...on each visit we've made friends with our neighbors.
As for the name...whatever. It's just a name, it's not THAT lame, and it's KK, not KKK ,so forget about the label and enjoy the big table!
