Tastes like something different

Erm. I wanted ice cream last night, but my pal kept saying we needed to go to Tutto Tutti. After I'd had a glass of wine, the name of the place was pretty fun to say so I gave in. Tutto Tutti it was. And I liked it. I just had the Virgin plain and I had regular strawberries on it. They only have one size--for 4 bucks--and I looked at it and said, oh, I don't think I'll be eating all of this. But sure enough, I did. My friend got the Double Wonder, which is his favorite. I tasted it. It tastes like cheesecake a bit. The verdict: Tutto Tutti is Tutto Tasty. I'd eat it again. I'd probably eat it with my bare hands, ladies and gents. It's hidden and it was not busy. Get you some before it 'splodes!
- Pros: Unique for your mouth
- Cons: One size and you gotta eat it all. That's not really a con. Don't be wasteful! That's a con.
Other fro-yo shops can eat their (cold) hearts out. This spot's organic upbringing and odd flavors, like Double Wonder and Freckle Snow White, take the frozen dessert fad in a bold new direction.

In Short
This hidden Melrose find has been hailed as the frozen yogurt of the future. Sure, those other SoCal fro-yo shops claim all-natural fare. Tutto Tutti is probably the first in town to throw "organic" into the mix though. And you can taste it. Unique flavors, like Super Bee (made with honey and ginseng root), leave a sweet and savory mark like nothing else in town. The plain offering--here they call it "Virgin"--packs a simple, subtle punch as well. No ultra tart trickery to be found. As for toppings, Tutto Tutti won't let you cover your yogurt in just any ol' sugar-coated confections. Diners are forced to skip chocolate chips and Fruity Pebbles in favor of candied walnuts and fresh or balsamic-marinated fruits. Just as well since the popular Double Wonder, a sea salt and caramel concoction, tastes great all on its own.
