Went for appetizers at sunset and enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next day for breakfast. The drinks on the patio were deliciously dangerous and the tuna tacos were amazing. Breakfast was fantastically decadent and the view of the morning surf was a great way to start the day. Great service, too, thanks!
The ultimate spot for surf n' turf on the historic Malibu Pier.

In Short
If you crave surf, sea and gimlets at sunset, then this idyllic spot perched on the reopened Malibu pier has it all. An obvious choice for locals and Malibu daytrippers, the scene is laidback and the ocean views are fabulous. The Malibu Pier was built privately in 1905, made public in 1934, and during World War II served as a Coast Guard lookout station. The restaurant flaunts a nostalgic yacht club kitsch with a glossy wood interior, stuffed marlins, sea green booths, vintage Malibu photos and porthole windows; the saltily delicious umbrella-dotted patio stands alone. As for the food, unlike what its name might suggest, it's all about gourmet surf and turf versions of clam chowder, seafood pot pie, Berkshire pork osso bucco, agave mint-glazed rack of lamb and chimmichurri ribeye.
