With a smattering of restaurants, entertainment and oh, and a Ferris wheel, this well-maintained open-air promenade is a place for Long Beach locals and visitors to mix and mingle. Catch a flick at the Cinemark, grab a sidewalk seat and sip your latte at Borders, then get your chow on at any number of tasty restaurants before going on a Segway tour or taking a spin on the Ferris wheel for just $2. (Though we do not necessarily recommend doing all this in that order.) If you're looking for a more mature night on the town, grab a pint at the recently opened Sgt Pepper's Dueling Piano Bar and get by with a little help from your friends.
