Fake reviews
by EML209
This place is the worse gym that I have ever been too. And they have their people put up fake reviews to boost their declining image. The reviews on Google were really bad like 2 stars and they had that all taken down. This place over charges people and the people who work there are really rude. I suspect that they are related to the GM or owner. Five minutes after I quit, they started to call me. The calls went on for 2 weeks. The I started to get mail from them. In this economy, this place will be a Wall Mart in months. Save your money.

Ever feel like the health clubs in LA are a dime a dozen?? well, Sports Club LA and BH make you feel like you've joined a private gym that has the best amenities. not only is the equipment always the latest and greatest, but the support staff is amazing! the spa and food is pretty fantastic as well.... Sports Club LA is the way a gym should be!

So much more than a GYM!
by imdeems
The SCLA on Sepulveda has everything--top notch workout facility; professional trainers; beautiful spa; pool; basketball; racket sports; sundeck; great food--you really can't compare to any other fitness facility in the city.... and the people who work there are so nice from the valet parking attendants, housekeeping staff all the way to the management! It's just the best..worth every $$$
- Pros: FABULOUS OASIS
Top Notch!
by pal8lal
The Sports Club LA has everything you could ask for- more classes than you could dream of, private training, pilates, yoga- extremely clean work-out areas and locker rooms. There is also an amazing spa, salon, great restaurant and cafe.
The spinning classes are amazing and the personal trainers are great. Whether you like to work out on your own, in a class or with a trainer you are sure to get a top notch work out here- everything is state of the art...
Rude,Unprofessional, Un-attractive Staff
by sebastian9
The staff is a bunch of lonely people looking for some kind of break, They seem desperate, like please help me, I need a life. Well help your-self by not being sooooo rude!!!!! Over-priced, Desperate people, who needs to go back to school, or the army.
- Pros: the sun deck
- Cons: the classes are really bad
Really disappointing
by ABH1280
I was a friend of a member and I thought the place was really cool. But soon after things got ugly. They treated my friend like S#&*@! And that's not cool! This place is over charging it's members and they know it. And the service here is bad for the price. Why don't they serve bottled water or towels? That's the only way that I would give this place 5 stars!
- Pros: Big Pool
- Cons: The Staff
Worth the Committment
by Lola1969
I have to say that since I signed up with Sports Club, I have never worked out so hard, the classes are interesting and the staff here is always helpful. I absolutely love the yoga classes, especially Erika, she is an inspiring teacher.
- Pros: Close to home/classy place
Not worth the money
by Lisagymgirl139
This place is over priced gym and the workout classes are the same as any other gym. This place is not fancy nor does it have friendly staff. The only people who gave this place good reviews are the ones who did not pay for the monthly dues. I see alot of reviews by guest and first time gym members.
Take time to talk to the GM and see what bizarre comments come out of his mouth. If you complain about anything, he will tell you that you are not a good "Fit" for this gym. So I quit and filed a complaint and got a refund.
- Pros: Big gym
- Cons: the Staff
fun group ex!
by LizABeth
There are TONS of group exercise classes to choose from. When I tried the gym out for a week I went to their definitions class & basic indo-row, both I hadn't heard of before... They did not dissapoint. The instructors were nice & both had me sore the next day. I would also reccomend the Saturday morning Step class, the instructor Paul is hilarious (catches me up on the week's hollywood gossip & movie reviews) and offers variations to match any fitness level. Overall its the perfect place to bring your girlfriends for a group work out.
- Pros: lots of classes, fun instructors
- Cons: overwhelming.../intimidating
Horrible Gym
by MH2009
The staff do not communicate with the trainers and schdules for training times get conflicted.
I was working out with a trainer for weeks when the management gave away my time slot to another member who threatened to quit. They even gave that member free sessions. Instead of apologizing for their scheduling error, they ignored me and dismissed me. They totally favored this other member.
I was treated like a second class citizen.
SO I quit!!!
For $175 a month I would hope the Sports Club la install a scheduling program that works.
- Pros: none
- Cons: Bad customer service
