The Best Thai Food in LA
by Sheauen at Citysearch
I've been coming to this place since I was a poor student at UCLA in 2000. The food is consistently good. The service is good, sometimes gets a bit slow when they're busy. The best Pad Thai in town. Most of their dishes can be made vegetarian. My favorite is the green papaya salad. The parking lot is a mess and they only take cash but its worth the inconvenience.
- Pros: good food, good prices, open late night
- Cons: not a lot of parking, cash only.
Always great Thai food at great prices!

I have eaten at this restaurant for many years and they are always consistent in their home-cooked flavors and lovv prices. They are famous for their Thai rice porraige and the many small plates that accompany it.
- Pros: Delicious food, ample parking, quick service
- Cons: Cash only... you can leave your AMEX card home if you plan on coming here.
Low-budget tropical decor reigns supreme at one of Thai Town's cult-fave spots for traditional dishes and unique specialties.

In Short
Located inside a mini-mall best known for being the original home of the "Thai Elvis," this airy, wood-toned spac is marked by a colorful altar overlooking vintage Bangkok photos, folk paintings and rattan lanterns, while families seeking authentic cuisine and Hollywood foodies gather throughout day and night. Popular dishes include coconut chicken soup, green papaya salad with salty black crab, noodles with squid and morning glory, fried green mussels, duck stew and spicy red curry.
Best Thai joint!

Authentic Thai food with authentic prices. Excellent, fast service without long queue. Our all time favourites: morning glory, omelette and green curry. Simple, down to earth. But a tad small in space.
- Pros: Authentic food, Authentic prices
Great Thai

Excellent authentic Thai! Not much in the decor or entertainment department, but you don't go to this place for the Elvis impersonator -- you go for the Hundred Year Old Eggs which are amazing. Try them, I dare you!
Thai me up, Thai me down
by Drinkwater at Citysearch
This homey hole-in-the-wall is one of the best Thai restaurants in the city. From the curry to the pad thai, each dish is specially made with the most authentic of ingredients - as if you stepped into grandma's house in the middle of Thailand. It's BYOB, so grab a good bottle of Pinoit Grigio and get set to treat yourself to some spicy goodness. Order as many dishes as you want, and share them with everyone at the table - and don't worry, even with a party of four most voracious eaters, your bill won't top $50.
- Pros: Food, food, food, Parking, Authenticity
- Cons: None
