These pay courts sit right between the 5 freeway and Riverside Drive at the edge of Los Feliz, making it a noisy spot for tennis. The facility is huge, so there are usually a few courts available any time of day. But avoid the outside courts, particularly later in the afternoon when freeway traffic picks up--sounds like you're playing in the median strip. For my money, the Vermont Canyon courts in Griffith Park are a much better experience--gorgeous setting between the golf course and the hills, lots of trees, and much, much quieter.

Cons: Noisy
