THE WORST CLUB EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD
by alon_raphael
I'm not certain what the worst part of this evening was, so I'll just list everything that went wrong.
1. I order an expensive bottle of champagne and 3 double patrons; we wait and wait and wait. Finally, drinks arrive. Patrons are blatantly watered; I make a comment to the waitress who gets angry; sends bartender over to yell at us. Finally brings us another shot of patron to appease us. I am charged for the "free" patron that was meant to compensate for the watered ones.
2. Bouncer sitting right by my table hits on the girls I am with relentlessly the whole night.
3. At one point, one of my guests puts down a champagne glass and it breaks on the table. What one would think: cheap glasses! Instead, security comes over to evict us for having an intoxicated guest. After paying the bouncer $20 to go away, situation is resolved. EXTORTION OF HIGH PAYING GUESTS!
4. At the end of the evening, while there are still people in the club, my friend is in the restroom. I wait outside the restroom, where I am accosted by a bouncer who insists I leave immediately. I inform him that I do not want to lose track of my guest in the restroom. Without words, he forcibly, physically throws me out....this all after over a $500 check.
I'm a spender and a club regular....All I can say is that this is hands down the worst treatment I have ever had. If you have a special occasion or event, or just want an evening that does not involve being embarrassed and abused, I would recommend you stay away from this horribly mismanaged atrocity.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Abusive staff
An enticing Hollywood pleasure palace where you can indulge in more sins than Adam, Eve and an NFL football player.

In Short
Contrary to its idyllic namesake, this Garden of Eden is dark and cavernous, a Hollywood playpen complete with torches and stone pillars, a two-room dance floor, a trio of bars and a charming dungeon-like outdoor patio with comfy booths and heat lamps. The wide range of music mix is always funky and dance-driven. You'll find a throng of naughty Eves in their most alluring outfits, looking to bite into more than an apple.
Not for the drunken
by xtomatox
The venue is big. Many sitting areas. Many ups and downs so not drunkard friendly. The last time I was there, the women's restroom ran out of toilet paper in EVERY stall and the attendant did not replace. The smoking area is a little bit small, but manageable. There is a great cheap parking area right behind the club but is a little hard to see/get to.
- Pros: large location, easily accessable and cheap parking
- Cons: too many stairs
Once you get in, it's good

If you don't get here before 10pm on a popular, you'll spend some time waiting outside. I've greased the bouncers a few times just to bypass the wait - plus cover and it gets expensive. The club is quite nice inside - spacious, good decor, huge outside area and the VIP area. Go-go dancers are really, really, really hot. And they know how to work the crowd. Drinks are a rip-off, but that's no surprise.
My fave spot in Hollywood!!

Garden of Eden is my favorite place to go dancing! My friends and I go there regularly for a girls night out! I will agree it is tough to get into if you're a guy, especially if you're a guy and not on the list. If you're looking for a good time, good ambienence and awesome music to dance to then hit up Garden of Eden on a Fri/Sat night!!
Great place

I have been here twice and both times I had a good time. Drinks are Ok. service is good. Music is good. Dancers are good, what I liked the best about it was the decor. Vip room upstairs was crowded but real cool people. For those who don't get in, you must not be at the right place.
- Pros: decor, decor, decor
Adam and Eve would leave!
by MMcNearney
Garden of Eden is pretentious, snobby, and over-rated. The service is beyond bad, it is rude without reason. This club is the insecure pretty girl who puts on lots of makeup to camaflouge how dumb and empty she is. I waited behind a distant rope outside an empty club for 30 minutes in order to make this lame spot look "desirable" to passers-by. The high maintenance place doesn't even reward you for the wait once inside...the martinis were les than average and the service was awful.
- Cons: pretentious, over-priced
Good stuff

Friday nights are way cool. The decor is nice, the music is good, and we didn't have any problem getting in. The bouncer was actually really nice. The drinks are pricey, but anywhere you go in Los Angeles is going to be like that. I'd definitely go back.
- Pros: Decor, Nice patio
Be warned
by lanna48
If you do not know someone or if you are not on the vip list, forget about getting into the Doors of this place (fri/sat) nights. The bouncers are mean and the crowd is stuck up !
OK Music, But Plenty of Unwanted Attitud
by Happee
My friends and I tried going here for a girl friend's b-day. It was hard to get in unless you knew someone or "look" the part.
I expected to see a bevy of beauties, but saw short & buff older men trying to hit on fake breasts and not so pretty faces.
The music was the best thing about the club. Go there to dance, not to hook up with some eye candy.
- Pros: Good Music, Nice Bartenders
- Cons: Stuck-up Doormen, Older Crowd
