Still as good as ever!

I cant beleive the things people will say to try and bad mouth a good quality, family owned Mexican restaurants.....child molesters eat here?? They eat everywhere people get a grip! Now back to "El Taquito". This is one of the best places to get good non-fatty carne asada ANYTHING! The burritos are saucy and spicy (add cheese like I do). The Nachos are legit with real montery jack (no yellow cheddar goop), refried beans and guacamole mmmmm.

I have been coming here for over 20 years and bring some of my buddies that live in East Los Angeles here (El Sereno) to eat.

The food speaks for itself. The patio is a nice setting on a cool afternoon (no shade). The inside seating is ample and has a juke box. They sell beer in bottles and have some selection on tap occasionaly.

Dont forget to ask for the "rajas" these are pickled jalapenos, carrots and onions. I like to eat a carrot piece with every bite of my carne asada burrito.

The portions are fair for the prices and the service is decent (remember this is not a sit down and order joint).

The local area has become a bit "rough" but the place is always clean and the food is always fresh.

I dont like it because child molesters eat here at el taquito 90032,I went in one day a saw to men leering at a young boy,i had a talk with the owner he siad,as long as they pay for the food they are welcome to eat here.,and besides the cashiers are rude,and the food is real bad,dont order the soup it has a bad taste,and one more thing if your gonna eat there dont take your kids if you know what i mean.

Great Fast Mexican Food

I remember El Taquito being a hole in the wall, in which you ordered your food and waited against the wall, because the line was right in fron tof you. Now El Taquito is a full service restaurant without the waitress. El Taquito's food is delicious and so tasty. My husband and my favorite is the Carne Asada Wet Burrito with Green Sauce. Watch out because it's Hot and Spicy, which is what you expect from a Mexican Restaurant. The salsas are how they should be, no tomato. You can walk in and order and wait for your food or call it in, which is what I do. They also have family meals which are a deal. The restaurant is kept clean and tidy, and the workers have exceptional customer service.

I love their Tacos de Carne Asada

Oh, this place is like home to me. My family and I have been going here for years. It's a bit more than a hole in the wall, and they serve up some of the best Tacos de Carne Asada. Another favorite is getting carnitas by the pound and getting all the fixings like fresh cebolla (onion), tomate y cilantro. The food is delicious, and the price is right. I can get two Tacos de Carne Asada with Horchata for about $3.50. Not a bad deal at all. Great for kids and the parking is pretty easy. Not quite the romantic spot though.
