BAD SERVICE
by MelR
High prices for bad service. Food was "ok"
Took forever to get seated, or acknowledged for that matter.
Our server "Aaron" or "Eric" did not check up on us during our meal, nor even say a word besides taking our order; when he brought our check he just slapped it down on the table..., however, he did speak to what seemed like his regular customers. The bussers brought our ketchup, coffee, refilled our coffee and served us better! We won't be going back there...
- Cons: Go elsewhere instead!

Ugh

Went there late one night a couple month's. Got the special Kobe Beef Burger. The meat was off and I got sick. The burger bar is just ridiculous. The menu is way too huge for it to possibly be good. Would not be nearly as offended if they didn't tout themselves as "Fine Food" when that's the farthest thing it is.
Great Value and Great Burger.

Really good burgers, fast service and a ton of toppings. Fries were huge and really crispy, huge portions. Plus, they have toppings for free.
Too expensive and the services is BAD!

The burgers are good but pretty expensive. The services is pretty bad. If I am going to spend $40 for 2 people for lunch I much rather go somewhere where the food is better and the service is good.
- Cons: Price
Great Burgers that worth the wait
by LimeLight84
I hate burgers... well until I ate at Mo's. This place changed my perspective toward the great American fast food dish. The meat is juicy and they managed to put gourmet to something rather simple. The salad bar is packed with essentials that you want. The staff is so friendly. Was it only me that get treated nicely. I found that if you are nice to the people, you will be treated nicely back. :)
If it wasn't so close, I wouldn't go.

The burgers are good, but the "burger bar" consists of something like 3 condiments, and a not very good type of potato salad, which I tried once and will not have again. That's it. Nothing else. No frills, no extras. Nothing. The "foot long" sandwiches are two pieces of average bread open faced (thus the foot long?) with not much meat on them. The salads are very good, but very expensive. They do have Pacific Ridge on tap. It's a great beer and I can't find it anywhere else.
Service has always been pretty good.
- Pros: Location
- Cons: cost
Good Neighborhood Joint

From the outside this place looks like a dingy bar and can seem intimidating. Once inside, however, it's obvious that people love Mo's. There is almost always a wait, although it's never that long. The menu has a lot of interesting items on it, but the burgers are the thing to get here (at least your first time). I don't even eat red meat, and I think it's great. Mo's offers a whole list pre-set burger combinations (which you can adjust as needed, of course) and patty options (beef, turkey, veggie). When your burger is ready it is taken to the burger bar. I do have to say the burger bar (with its basic condiments and a couple side salads) was a little disappointing, but you do get to customize when you place your order so I'm not sure how to make it better. Mo's has a great selection of non-burger items on the menu as well which are also consistently good.
- Pros: burgers, ambiance
- Cons: service can be slow
Tasty entrees, nothing else special.

The only reason people go to this dive and think they enjoy it is because it is trendy. The decor has an alright feel, reminiscent of a lodge, and the actual main courses are good, but everything else falls flat...well, except the prices. Who needs to pay $10.95 for a burger that doesn't come with any sides? Want french fries? That's a whopping $4.95 extra. Want extra cheese, onions, or other additives that they "conveniently" left out? That's an extra 50 cents per item on an already overpriced meal. Oh, I forgot, there is Mo's Famous Burger Bar. Essentially, you don't get your food brought to you; you have to get it yourself at a tiny island bar similar to the salsa bar at El Pollo Loco. And your being "escorted" there is just being told by a server (not the waiter/ess) where it is, leaving you to find it yourself. The bar itself is a travesty. Your options are the worst potato salad ever, some disgustingly sliced pickles, dry coleslaw (how do you mess up coleslaw?), sloppy tomatoes, unappetizing pasta salad, and risotto that no one would touch. If you're not getting a burger, you won't get much else for cheap. The cheapest pasta dish is $11.95, and none of them come with any meat in it. Two options allow chicken added for an extra $2 and shrimp for $4. Aren't we paying enough already? Apparently when it's trendy and you might see a celebrity, people will pay anything. The wait staff is alright, but they don't really do much other than give you drinks. I ordered an ice water (since a simple fountain soda is $2.50) and it was never refilled. Most people will order a burger or sandwich, which is left at the burger bar anyhow, so they don't need to serve you. Not a bad experience, but no place I would recommend. There are much better, cheaper, more celebrity-filled restaurants that actually serve you good food at a decent price and don't try to stiff you at every corner.
- Pros: Tasty main course
- Cons: Overpriced, nothing special, not enough for your money
Mo's is cool

I like Mo?s a lot. The burgers are big and the burger bar has all the fixings you can think of. Make sure to order a side of the curly fries to go with the burger!
Almost every time I go there I see a celebrity. Last time it was Jason Priestley and Naomi Lowde.
