Alterationist you can trust!
by nervoustattoogirl at Citysearch
Best alternations in town - I take EVERYTHING to them, from my designer jeans to my wedding dress. Prices are very fair, quick turn-around, professional quality and extremely courteous. Note: Doesn't take credit, cash preferred and parking can be a pain, but well worth it!
- Pros: Quality of work, Reasonable prices, Quick turn-around
- Cons: Parking, Doesn't accept credit

I'm so happy that I decided to listen to the citysearch reviewers because they were dead on about Lizon. Its reasonably priced and the family is so kind! By far, Lizon Tailors is the best tailors in West LA.
- Pros: Great Service; Excellent tailoring
- Cons: Parking lot only holds like 6 spaces. Lizon shares parking lot with a neighboring dry cleaners
Excellent tailoring and reasonable prices

I had a suit altered here and it fits perfectly. It was a nice suit but the pants didn't fit me quite right. I brought the suit here and he brought in the waist, the seat of the pants and the hips of the pants all without altering the length. He also made one tiny alteration to my jacket which made me look even sharper in my suit. The service was friendly and very quick - he turned it around in less than two days. I'm bringing my entire warddrobe here!
- Pros: Affordable, quality craftsmanship
- Cons: Hours aren't the most convenient for those working past 5pm.
Fantastic Tailor!

I found Lizon Tailors on Citysearch because I was looking for a good tailor to alter some new suits and pants. I am VERY particular about how my clothes fit me. I saw a few good reviews and decided to give them a try. I am so glad that I did. The owner Al was on the site to do the measurements and the service was friendly and personal. He even gave me a discount on doing "extra" work on a pair of pants as a first time customer. I dropped my clothes off on a Saturday and they were ready by Thursday. The service is fast and the prices are very reasonable. I didn't even have to try on the clothes at the store because everything fit perfectly. I will continue to use Lizon Tailors for all of my future alterations!
- Pros: Fast, professional results, reasonable prices
- Cons: Shares parking lot w/dry cleaner
This place is great
by azmadscientist at Citysearch
Service is outstanding. The owner knows his stuff given his 40+ years of experience. Great price: I spent less than I would at other places for the same quality of service. I will always come back in the future.
- Pros: experience, fast
Best tailor on the westside!

I've used Lizon Tailors for almost 15 years. I used to go to the dry cleaners in the same plaza. They weren't that great, but the tailor's shop next door has always been excellent. Al Ozer really knows his clothes and fabrics, too. One time I bought a brand new Zegna suit made in Italy from super 120's wool. Mr. Ozer did a complete alteration and when I picked it up, he asked me how much it was, curious because it was so beautifully made. He could tell when he opened up the Bemberg lining. I asked him what he thought it sold for, and he said "around $1800". The tag was $1795. He really knows his stuff, and so I drive from Westwood near UCLA all the way to Palms to see him. He could move to south of the airport and I'd still go to him!
- Pros: quality work, inexpensive, ready on time
- Cons: none
Lizon Tailors is the BEST!
by asianfreckles at Citysearch
I've gone to a number of tailors/alteration places from Brentwood to the Valley, but Lizon is the best value and skill. He's REALLY a Tailor and he's always there to do the measurements. I've had suits and dresses done there. I just went to a place close to my new apt recommended by Citysearch and was soooo disappointed that I felt I had to let everyone know about my favorite tailor.
- Pros: Professional, Inexpensive
