The worst eyebrow thread of my life

What a horrible experience. The worst eyebrow threading I have ever gotten. It was slow and extremely painful. Not to mention the shaping was terrible and something I could of done myself with less pain and less money. Not to mention the entire time she was trying to sell me on their other products when I made it quite clear I was only interested in an eyebrow threading. The staff was very unfriendly and I did not feel taken care of at all. I went to this place because I'm new in Los Angeles and saw all the great reviews on this website. I was VERY disappointed. I had to give one star because a rating is required, but it should get zero.

Tahira is the best!

I was referred by my friend who gets her whole face threaded here; apparently it's like a facial. I just do eyebrows and take the boyfriend sometimes too. Practically painless and my eyebrows look amazing...seriously, I get compliments. Cannot beat 5 dollars either!!

Better and cheaper then waxing!!!

Let me start with stating that I am very unfortunate to have staright eyebrows that are difficult to shape. I used to drive all the way to the Santa Monica mall to get my eyebrows waxed until my co-worker recommended Rozina's. I decided to try the place out because my eyebrows couldn't get any worse. When I got to the place, it was diffucult to find parking and once I finally entered the salon I had to write my name on a list because it was so busy. I did not expect threading to hurt so much. However, the pain is totally worth it, because in the end, I actually had nice eyebrows. I never thought that my eyebrows had a nice shape hidden. I have been going to this place for over two years and have never had a bad experience. One time I forgot my wallet at work and the owner kindly told me that I can bring the money on the next visit. I was actually surprised that he didn't get upset because most people usually do. This shows how the owner values his customer. Finally, the best thing of all is that it is only $5 to get your eyebrows done. It can't get any better than that. The two girls that i like going to are Jasbir and Tahiri. I highly recommend them, but my favorit would have to be Jasbir.

Beware!

Well.. I just feel that I simply must warn the public. Please take caution before getting the famous "Brazilian Wax". This is done by unlicensed "beauticians" to say the least.... obviously she was not trained where it is appropriate and non appropriate to "touch". The girls their are not aware of our laws in US, and it's as if they think we (the public) are looking to get "pleased" so they can get tipped. Beware, at least when taking your pants off....

Worth the wait!

Love this place.. highly recommend.. go to Tahira! There's usually a wait for her but I think that says something :) Expect there to be a few girls waiting during the evenings, especially on Fridays.

BRAZILIAN WAXING

I would have never found Rozina's on my own. This storefront beauty shop was referred to me by a friend who goes religiously for waxing and threading. I am now one of these people! I have been all around town for "brazilian bikini waxes" including infamous Pink Cheeks, and various other high end salons, sometimes paying an upward of $60. Since, I found Rozina's I have no need to go elsewhere. Ask for Salima. She is kind, attentive, detail-oriented, and the methods and wax used leave for no cuts, ingrowns, or bruising. Heals fast! The huge plus, is that the service is only $25!!! UNBEATABLE in this town!

"Khite" hair removal!

Rozina's is one the best in the nation when it comes to "khite," the thread method of depilation. Don't be fooled by the humble shop exterior. Super fast, super cheap ($3 for eyebrows!), and super skilled, the astheticians at Rozina's amazed me. My eyebrows were done in less than 2 minutes, and looked better than anytime I'd gotten them waxed.
