I wouldn't know a better place to take a dog for grooming. Just walking into the quaint place makes you feel relaxed and welcome with fresh colors and beautiful displays of dog goodies. And Gia the owner, well there are just not enough words to describe her wonderful spirit. Her love of dogs shines with every dog that walks through the door. Everyone is treated with extra special care and she makes sure that all the customers wishes are fullfilled. I rescue dogs and she always has helped me when I needed help with an especially dirty and matted dog. All her staff is so friendly and great with the dogs and they really know what they are doing. I often just stop by to chat and it is a pleasure to see Gia's joy in her work and her love for animals.

This is the best grooming shop in LA, thanks to Gia and a staff of groomers who have been working there for over 10 years! My dog actually get excited and LOVES going there. They are especially gentle and kind to old, sick or frightened dogs. And Gia will take the time to really talk with you and get to know your dog. I've been taking my dogs to Pour La Pooch for 10 years, and it's always 5 star service!

Pros: Gia! and the groomers!

Cons: NONE!

Meeting Gia and Pour La Pooch was a stroke of good luck. She is caring and sweet. She has impeccable taste with accessories and my own sweet dog was a happy Pooch when I arrived to pick him up after his grooming. She was kind to him as he is older but very spry. She was patient with him. Most importanly, I could tell that she was kind to him. You can really tell these things! I love the neighborhood feel of the store. My Pooch and I will definitely be a regular now.

Pros: Accessible, really nice accessories, great prices, neighborhood feel, great grooming with quality products.

Cons: I personally don't like cages very much but all places use them.

The genuine article! Gia, the owner couldn't be a bigger animal lover if she were Dr. Dolittle...and welcomes all her guests with a big smile and treat (as long as you're on 4 legs). The shop is filled with fantastic supplies...one of a kind beds...you will certainly find one for your size pooch and style/taste. The grooming is fantastic...just make sure you call ahead...this place rocks...and people know about it! BUT...it is worth it. A hidden gem right near Cobras and Matador's on Beverly Blvd. Pour la Pooch has been around for ages...and has been okay in the past, but since Gia purchased the place - WOW! - not just a new coat of paint...her passion for animals is evident. Whether you need treats (they carry ba ba ques, which are my dogs' favorite treats - try 'em!), hand made beds (with style), nail trims (my dogs won't let anyone else clip them), or full grooming services (long standing staff deliver great, predictable results each time)...this is THE place to stop.

Pros: Service, grooming, selection, staff and atmosphere

Cons: Parking can be a little tough depending on the time, but they are good about getting you in and out...so no big deal.

This charming shop, north of the Grove, is THE spot for the cutest pooch apparel and accessories. Owner Gia's impeccable taste and friendly demeanor create an atmosphere where dogs and their people are completely spoiled. Her dependable staff give the best, reliable service anywhere in town. A place where even the A list call in advance. Every pooch gets the red carpet treatment that will keep them begging to come back.

Pros: Personalized service, a warm welcome, yummy treats at the counter

Cons: Aging Beverly Blvd. architecture, limited parking during business hours
