Good resource
by filmbuff000
They have fat-free/sugar-free ice cream... pricey but worth it.
The Farmer's Market in general is a great place to buy raw and cooked food - an eclectic mix of old-timers and trendsetters. Now that it's next to the Grove shopping center, it's a good destination for tourists or anyone else.
Handmade Ice Cream
by lwmango
Possibly the creamiest ice cream I've ever tasted! I love their root beer floats and the rotating menu of flavors. My favorite is the pumpkin offered in the fall, and peppermint offered around the winter holidays. They give you generous portions, my one-scoop cone was a virtual mountain of ice cream that I could barely finish. The prices are a bit higher than your neighborhood Baskin Robbins but it's worth it--Bennett's handmakes all their ice cream on site and you can taste the difference. The best place for a sweet treat if you're visiting the Grove/The Farmer's Market.
- Pros: Quick Service, lot parking, Large Portions
- Cons: Expensive, Rotating Flavors (might not always have your favorites)
place to have a delicious treat
by mrswesleyjonathan
I would love to go for ice cream to taste all the delicious flavors of ice cream. It cools me off and is one of my favorite treats to eat that is sweet.
- Pros: A place I say to get a ice cream sundae
- Cons: n/a

Since 1963; family-owned Farmers Market stand sells ice cream made on-site. Rotating flavors include white-chocolate raspberry, cabernet sorbet, fat-free yogurts.
Ice cream the way it should be
by tgreene73
Happened upon this place in the farmers market(bit of a tourist trapbut not horrible for a quick bite) that sold ice cream after asking some 10yr old where he got his -it just looked soo good-so wondered on over and got myself a cone of cookie dough and mint chocolate chip,it was incredible, now iam from new york where every ice cream shop here is trying to be like italy(almost a sorbet)this was just good ole fashion american ice cream-the mint chocolate chip was the mintiest I have had without being overpowering and the cookie dough had a nice vanilla flavor with soft but solid chunks of cookie dough in it.the cone was even fresh and crisp
- Pros: good variety, good flavor, texture
- Cons: in LA but not NY
