Excellent!

After reading some of these reviews I had to step in, with a vendor's view.

Best Events runs an event like a well oiled machine. Both my husband and I have done work for Best Events. Jeffery's attention to detail is bar none. He hires the best and expects the best from his people.

He throws amazing creative parties and events as small as a 4 year old birthday with a go cart race track to a ginormous Sony party or a Premier that includes turning a pool into a dance floor.

As a vendor, I arrive in advance well informed and on board with any delicate situations like NDAs or celebs that want to be left alone.

Everything runs smooth and on time. Jeffery does not settle for anything less than a worry free experience for his clients.

Is he good, yes. Is he the best, no.

Mr. Best is good at thematic events but so are my friends who plan their 5 year old's Birthday parties. It doesn't take a genius to plan an event but it does take knowing the right people. Jeffrey is good but his arrogance isn't worth the price you pay when you are not an "A list" client. His team is often seen as being frightened of him, his attitude is visibly horrible, he has a propensity to comes in over budget, he tends to make "executive decisions" without asking the client, he refuses to show you a detailed breakdown of the final costs for auditors and in the end, the trouble is not worth the end result that you can achieve by using another popular event company. Yes, there is no denying he is a good event planner, but can one recommend him based on all the other faults, not really.

Had the BEST Event

I oversee Special Projects Marketing for my company and have hired many event planners throughout my 20 year career. But the experience I received from Best Events was unprecedented.

Jeffrey Best and his team went above and beyond for me and my event. Their knowledge of the event world and their access to resources is second to none. My event was a huge success and my superiors as well as our clients were elated with everything they did (making me look like a hero).

I cannot thank them enough for coming thru for me on this event (and coming in under budget).

I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an event planner (they even told me they do weddings and bar mitzvah's too, ha!)

Fake reviews below

The fake reviews were not only written on the same day, but the so-called "Reviewers" have each only posted one review on the Citysearch website - and guess who it's for?

I've heard many complaints from unhappy former clients of Best Events. Among them: they don't return phone calls, have trouble delivering - and make you feel terribly unimportant if you're not an A-list client.

It's this kind of manipulative behavior like posting fake reviews that typifies all the folks who've complained about his character. He was good for about a year and then he got really full of himself and went downhill from there.

Basically, he's just living off his old reputation and most who've used him in the past have moved on to other party planners who don't practice in such questionable behavior.

I smell fake reviews

I work in the event industry and was scrolling through the categories. Best events is truly not a company that I would have guessed to have had so many brilliant reviews based upon the buzz within my industry. They are good, not the best by any means. If anything they are known for big promises during the planning stages and whatever shows up is what the event actually is.

Just notice that every review was written on the same day. Smells fishy.

When there are "somebodies"Best Events is there!

OK Best Events WOW! If it is an event that is either enormous or intimate they do it all! Jeffrey, hey I know you are a great guy and everyone in the industry knows you but how do you do it? I mean Sundance was amazing, huge with everyone there and all the venues.And the Best Friends Charity Event was a really touching and wonderful event. You seem to make magic in everything you touch. You know all the right people and they certainly know you! You are everywhere from fashion shows, parties, charities to large events. This guy can handle it all. It is a real experience to attend something that Best Events has put together. Five stars of course!

The Most Fantastic

I was planning a very special party and was lost when it came to not only etiquette but that extra flair that would have my quests talking about for a long time. I had attended an event that Best Events had done and remembered how impressed that I was. I called and spoke to Mr. Jeffrey Best and he was so personable on the phone. I, with complete confidence, put my event in his hands. I found him to be a real pro and interested in what I wanted and took care of all the details and then some! I couldn't have made a better decision than to have Best Events take care of everything! My guests are all still talking about it!

When everyone knows your name...

It means you are it, and it he is and everyone at Best Events. Jeffrey Best is your go to guy in Hollywood for your no nonsense event planning. I've found him to be as professional and expedicious as a client wants it to be. Fantastic and fast witted, he blew my cleints mind with such an amusing themed party for his boys barmitzvah.

Thank you for making my job so enjoyable.

Hollywood Baby!

A Heavenly event it was! My wife and I attended the after party for Art of Elysium Charity Gala - Honoring Eva Mendes and Jim Sheridan.

It was magnificent and inspiring night. It benefited "The Art of Elysium Charity", which helps children battling serious medical conditions. What a great thing to do for our community and our spirits. It's so empowering to see so many of hollywoods people in and out of the spotlight helping. Jeffrey Best and Company did such a magnificent job at putting such phenomenal night together. He truly is one of the Best in the industry.

It's all about the "Theme"

Living and working the entertainment industry is difficult. Not only do you have to be on your toes but you have to keep a cool head at all times.

Yes, so Jeffrey does loose his cool at times. Just bear and grin it, because the truth is that he wont if you do your job and do it right. He is great about themed parties and have worked with him on many a job. As a vendor and an owner, I know that employees and no matter how old they are, will always work our nerves. I give him credit for all he does and a damn good job he does. Impressive how he pulls it together and makes your imagination come allive. It's the client we must please and your employees should help you get those jobs done. Remenber grow a thick skin and you will learn a lot, especially from the Best.
