AWESOME KOREAN FOOD!
by allisonmoyer at Citysearch
This is by far the best Korean restaurant in Los Angeles. I've been to many and the food here is outstanding. I've been here a few times now and I recommend the "seafood pa-jun" which is like a pancake and any of their bbq meats. Their small side dishes are better than any other Korean joint in town. It's an old small place and seems to get very busy during dinner hours so don't expect great service, but you will definitely get great food. Go with a larger group so you can try more dishes at once.
The worst experience
by YeonHee at Citysearch
The food was okay, but the service was very bad. The waitress was very rude and ignorant. They were complaining about the stroller that we had to take in because the baby was sleeping. We asked more about one particular Korean dish and the waitress said "Calm down". I used to go to this restaurant, but I deseve better service with my baby and family. They don't have the right to be rude to us because we took the stroller inside the restaurant. All they had to do was ask nicely. Don't go!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best Korean, Best Panchan, great country hut casual back atmosphere, secret location, best golfer mom
by lawrenceccohen at Citysearch
Best dressed Mom golfer too. Love the food, hate the benches. Best thing was bacon on the grill with raw garlic and bean paste. Cuttlefish and green onion pancake can't be missed.
- Pros: best panchan get double thumbs up
- Cons: benches

Best Korean food in LA
by farwestkid at Citysearch
I have tried many Korean restaurants in LA. Sa Rit Gol is by far my favorite. I like to order the mixed vegetables with marinated pork. You wrap the pork with vegetables and rice. It's super delicious.
- Pros: Food, service buttons
- Cons: parking
Very disappointed. Also, has a B rating in terms of cleanliness.

After seeing all the positive reviews, I thought this place would be wonderful. The service was terrible. There was a call button and even after ringing it a few times, the waitresses still would not come to our table. We had to ask several times for our panchan to be replaced, which they never did fully. The jjajang myon was cold and not very tasty. The eel dish we had was the worst eel I've ever had. The only thing good was their kimchee. Also, their prices for the area are high and to top it off they have a B rating in terms of cleanliness. I do not recommend this place and don't understand why the other reviews were so good.
- Pros: None
- Cons: cleanliness, food taste, service
can't ask for both...

the food is great there... one of my favorite korean resturants... (i'm a picky eater) but the service is a negative.... but because the food is so good.. i go and pay for the bad service.... but overall, teh food is great.. i tak all my friends there.. but i warm them and tell them that the ah-jum-mah's aren't the friendliest or the fastest....
- Pros: food, price, smell
- Cons: service, parking
Definately worth going again!

I really loved this place. I followed the waitresses recommendation and ordered black cod - something I would never have thought of - and I LOVED it. Get adventurous! It's worth it.
Authenticity in a Hut
by pmbirmingham at Citysearch
Aside from the hidden gem of Sa Rit Gol, a family affair run with experience and aplomb by Justine Hah and her mother, the food is a special testament that rural cuisine of Korea is the best! The littany of salads and meats, subtly spiced and piquant Bass soups, but the highly addictive cuttlefish and green onion cakes are extraordinary!
- Pros: Cuttlefish Cake, Grilled Meats, Bass soup
- Cons: Benches
The Real Deal
by queengreen at Citysearch
Great food, nothing fussy, exceptional pricing. It's the place to go get your tummy full and soak up some culture. I love the private room!! I guess I'm not the only one, I've spotted a few familiar faces in there as well.
- Pros: Prompt Service, Delicious Food
