Saturday nights Circus is the place to be for plenty of dancing room and great electronica music. The staff is awesome: they greet everyone with smiles, high fives and great attitudes. The drink prices are reasonable (8-10 dollars.) There are 3 very large dancefloors and plenty of room to sit down when your feet get sore. Outside there is a Mexican food snack bar (which by the way is DELICOUS) and even more room. I think Circus is a great place to meet people with a positive vibe, and a refreshing escape from pretentious LA overcrowded night clubs. Since it is the electronica scene, there are the typical overgrown 'rave' crowd (which is not my thing but it is never unbearable) playing with light toys, so if that is a problem, be forewarned. Such a wonderful alternative to Avalon and any other club I have been to in LA.

Pros: Friendly staff, reasonable prices, huge dancefloors, good music, tasty food, free street parking (if you're early)

Cons: 'rave' crowd

I never seen such a beautiful, elegant, hi-tech, spacy club so empty and inhabitant. All they Play is techno. The staff are friendly. I would generally think if they played a club with broader genres it would draw a better croud

friendly staff, reasonable prices, ample dancing space and patio, good vibes, friendly crowd, no long lines unless it's tiesto or some other big dutch dj, not so many plastic, leathery hollywood wannabes as avalon, etc. i love this club! i feel so comfortable and safe there.

This club is old school but still reminas a fresh place to be seen. Friday nights are still THE spot to meet hot Latinos and meet up with old friends. 3 big rooms, the best Latin DJs in town and don't forgert the hot Latinos all over! Check it out Friday nights, I give it a 10 !

Pros: Still Hot! Especialy Friday Nights

Cons: Tuesday night could use some work...

typically, i am not a club person. i grew up seeing dj's at warehouse raves, not bars. i didn't expect to like circus, but i had a wonderful time. the employees there were awesome. they gave high-fives and hugs to all the people that came into the club and they checked on us a few times throughout the night to make sure we were having a good time. the crowd was so-so. i am not convinced that they listen to electronic music other than when they are at the club (since few of them really dance and they seem to like the less talented, but more accessible dj's over the opposite ones). but the vibe is positive and there's lots of space. and that's all that really matters.

I'm dutch and in Holland i've seen all the best dj's, nicest clubs, from trendy to underground. This club I was in foor the first time last saturday is outstanding. The embiemce is good and friendly, the people a little bit crazy (tht's going out) and the asian dj was ASTONISHING. Damn, this guy should go to Sensation. Tiesto, Back up!!! Inside is really what a good place to dance needs. Two big dancefloors, a small bar upstairs and a good large chill out. Outside is not very beautifull but cozy. Personell is friendly and fast but have some problems with counting. A must if you like good trance music and love to dance. The soundsystem is one of the best ever heard.

Cons: Cans of beer, counting skills of personell, crowd may be more racial mixed

I was at the Armin Van Buren concert and was the first time at Circus. This club is a great place to host top DJ in the world.

Circus Disco is the place you want to be especially on Saturday nights at Spundae. If you can handle good trance, house and breaks, then you'll have a blast! The top DJ's around the world perform here, therefore Spundae is absolutely packed with those who want to dance and enjoy great music. Besides all this, the bar tenders are very kind and serve great drinks. There is a fruits/snack stand every Saturday night which is free and a Mexican food joint in the club! The main dance floor is huge with great light and sound systems. I've been going to Spundae, Circus Disco for 3 years straight and have realized that it simply has a positive, good vibe about it. Its the type of place where you hug the doorman and your bar tender and see what they are doing later on to hang out!

Make sure to check the weekly line-up 95% of world best class techno DJ played here. Friendly and great atmosphere for dancing and mingling. Make sure you buy tickets to avoid long line (especially when big DJ is in town) or come in early before 9:30 PM
