Wonderful neighborhood addition

I was sad when the old library closed down...thinking it was on the wrecking ball list. Thankfully there are more forward thinking people living in my neighborhood than I thought. Not only was the old library building saved, but the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council has created a wonderful community center for culture and art. Volunteers and professionals teach classes from beginning painting to yoga to computers. Every year there's an art show that is just great for the community spirit.
