Fair at best!

While the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and the service was very good the food was only ordinary. I ordered the bone in rib eye steak and while it was cooked perfectly it had no seasoning and was kind of tough. Like the first post says, it is as expensive as any fine steakhouse but I think the steaks at Sizzler are even better.
My wife ordered the seared Ahi tuna which also had no flavor and was stone cold. We are used to the sear being done immediately before delivery to the table and this was obviously done ahead and kept cold for service.
- Pros: Service and atmosphere
- Cons: Food flavor and quality
Dependable digs boast consistent service and ample amenities.

JW = Just Wrong

My husband and I had dinner here tonight. Let's start off by saying the positives the hostess was very nice and the Cesar Salad we split was decent.
Now for the not so good stuff. The prices here are simliar to what you would pay at Ruth Chris's or Flemings. Designed the same way you order your steak and then any extra side dishes you want are extra. But the food quality is far from the above mentioned steakhouses. JW's food was mediocre at best, one would think we were eating at a Sizzlers but paying about four times as much.
The decor was very hotel furnishings ... just kinda blah all around. Even if you are staying at this hotel, I say spend a few bucks take a cab to a REAL steakhouse and really enjoy your dinner. Our waiter sucked! We finished eating and had to wait over 15 minutes until he came to clear our table. He never came once to refill my husbands ice tea glass. I felt bad for him becasue his section was busy so he was running around and it didn't seem like they had any busboys to help clear away plates ect ...
Our bill came to over $90 and that included no booze at all, no appetizer and no dessert. And in the end it just wasn't that pleasant of a dining experience. We wanted our bill so we could leave pronto!
We will never return here, so many choices to eat in LA ... this one is definitely something everyone can pass on.
- Pros: Hostess was nice, cesar salad was OK
- Cons: Everything else!
One among the many of standard, airport business hotels.

The Scene
Passengers on approach to LAX can see the huge, red neon sign that announces the name of this airport hotel. Many will travel on, but some will be required to stay here for one of the myriad conventions or meetings it hosts. In an area teeming with enormous business hotels, this high-rise tower complex may not offer anything new, but it also won't disappoint.
The Details
Renovated in 2000, guest rooms are spacious and contemporary, but lack sophistication and a strong design sense. One exciting aspect to the rooms is the incredible views of approaching jumbo jets from all over the world. Lively almost 24-hours a day, the huge lobby holds a good steakhouse and feisty sports bar, which shows the games on big-screen TVs.
