When I entered the joint I didn't expected to find so many gems for such reasonable prices. Soon I realized that almost everything on the hangers had a name. Most clothes are still in good condition and the selection is pretty large for men and for women. I use to snoop around the cloths racks once in a while and mostly find something cute and--most important--individual and unique.
Pros: Variety, quality

Just happened to stop in while shopping on Melrose with some friends and was pleasantly surprised to find a large selection of designer clothes for very reasonable prices. Got a great Morphine Generation jacket for $100 that retails for $500 new in stores good as new. It's time consuming but worth it make sure you aren't in a hurry when you go.

I find something 1 out of every 5 times i visit..I've lived in la and have shopped there for some time, and I find it to be the most uncomfortable shopping experience ever.
Pros: variety
Cons: can do without the attitude and lack of service..two thumbs down

you have to look veryclosely and you might come by a vintage hermes ,or diane many other great finds also but since word of mouth gets around tons more people go there and finding the right thingbecomes a tad harder but when you do discover that comme de garcon or that galliano that i have its all worth it !!! the staff is cool vert trendy the window displays make it worth just getting there !!!
Pros: great one of a kind finds!!
Cons: searching for them!!!

I have never left the Wasteland empty handed before. I come here about once every 2 months and I always buy at least 3 things each time. Every item is unique and different than a lot of the stuff in other stores. I think the prices are a little high, but it's fair for the designer merchandise. It is time consuming to shop there because you have to go through every item, but it's always a fun experience for me. This store is nicer and cleaner than all the other vintage stores I've been in and it's in a great location.
Pros: Large selection of clothing, fun place, cleaner than other vintage stores
Cons: Parking, crowded sometimes

If you have the time to look, you can find great things at wasteland! I once got a Barney's New York Tux for $90! However, I only find something like 1 out of every 3 times I go. Its just luck if they have something thats good one day to the next. I would watch the clothes people are turning in a the counter and get ready to buy the pieces the next day. Thats the best way to do it if you have lots of time on your hands.

Great place, I've got Juicy Couture sweaters (new w/tags) for about $30-40, plus some absolutely adorable no-names or dresses by Shelli Segal Laundry. Overall it is a pretty big store and is in a great location near other Melrose shops. Another recommended visit if you are in town or live here.
Pros: good prices, good selection
Cons: parking (sometimes), can be pricey

If you want to find designer clothing or shoes, come here. The music is great and the stock changes fairly quickly. I have been here many times and I always find something great. There are a fairly good selection of jeans from 7, Rock and Republic, BCBGirls, Citizens, Paper Denim, Juicy Couture, etc.. The prices aren't too high. I've found that there are lots of Juicy Couture tees, tanks, skirts, etc. I'm not a fan of Juicy, but if you are, come here. I spied a red off the shoulder Miu Miu top for $35, a Prada blouse for $35, a Marc Jacobs jacket for $40, a Gucci blouse for $40...the list goes on and on. Even though the customer service isn't the best, I highly recommend visiting Wasteland.
Pros: stock changes swiftly, inexpensive
Cons: its picked over, the parking!

I have purchased many Diesel Jeans here and so has my boyfriend, though they do come at a higher price than the usual second hand store. The buyers are very selective about what they hang on the racks in their store, making it almost impossible to sell anything there that isn't made by a "cool, hip or in" designer. Brands sold there are mostly worn by celebrities or quirky enough to please a Melrose crowd, yet the store is very picked at if you go on the weekends.
Pros: Pre Selected Clothes, Good music, Decent Prices
Cons: Melrose Hipsters, Requires Patience

Found some pretty cool stuff. Old Gucci, YSL, and Dior bags I wouldnt call vintage becuase they had minor defects. I found gucci shades for $50, dior bag for 50, and ysl bar for 40. I bought Juicy shirt for $18, Gucci belt for 45, and rock n republic jeans for $70 RV was $178.
Pros: Good Labels, Inexpensive, not hard to find
Cons: Parking, No returns no refunds, Medicore customer ser
