break pads

I went in for brake pad replacement and they found that I needed to replace the rotors. I believe the previous place I got my brakes done might have screwed them up.

Had to come in for 2 separate visits due to ordering of the rotors. 2nd time didn't charge me tax or labor which was awesome. Yeah rotors range about 30-60$ each on the internet. But nice people.

GREAT SERVICE

Good Service Honest Mechanics

Been going to Rod's Auto since they were on Melrose. I have always taken my cars there for minor ( oil changes, brakes etc. ) to major repairs new radiator and for 16 years I have never had a problem with their service. Good Honest mechanics.

honest and straight foward

followed them from melrose. Great service without the b.s. of selling you stuff you really don't need. Hell of a guy and team honest hard to find with the economy the way it is, you know what I mean.

like one of the other reviewers i live in the area so i brought my car in for a brake job. They were nice and less expensive than the last place. I would def go back

I could have been taken but was not!

I have a luxury suv that I get free oil changes from the dealership and with that they are always trying to sell me something from brakes to shocks to other stuff at crazy prices. I tell them to give me a print out of what I need ( ha ha) and I take it to Rod's and most of the time (95%) I don't need it and if I do he give the best price on either factory or close to it parts.

Being a female I feel totally safe and not taken going to Rod's

I tell all my friends and they all say he is the most honest mechanic out there!

A good mechanic can be hard to find...

I have had nothing but good experiences here. Jose is honest, hardworking, professional, and does his best to turn cars around as quickly as possible.The rates are reasonable, and I never once felt that I was being taken for a ride.
