Fantastic! Best chinese food anywhere!
by Metaljoe at Citysearch
This place is great. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fantastic and the waiter/waitress/hostess were all extremely deserving of a very generous tip. Great dining experience, great customer service. I'm coming back with a date. Best chinese food I've had in a very long time, bar none. And I've sampled all up and down the California coast.
- Pros: Good food, great ambiance, fantastic service from polite employees.
- Cons: None
This gussied-up chain bustles with singles and families craving Chinese food favorites.

In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.
Good for chain food

P.F. Changs at the Beverly Center in Beverly Hills is always a good place to go when you're out at the mall or otherwise can't think of what you're in the mood for. Everything is a tad on the sweet side, which is probably why this place is always so popular. This particular location seems to be a bit on the romantic side somehow, even for being at the mall. I'd recommend a stop-in if you're nearby and looking for something reliable.
- Pros: Good food
- Cons: Parking is a pain

P = phake, F = Fake, Changs = chinese food. Not sure which China they're talking about but this isn't food from China (the country). It's the Chinese equivalent of The Olive Garden. Terrible. If this were the SAT it would look something like this:
Chinese food is to P.F. Changs as Italian Food is to:
a) Vito's on La Cienega
b) Frankie's on Melrose
c) The Olive Garden (any Olive Garden)
d) Carmine's on Santa Monica.
I'm like that kid from The Sixth Sense...when I go for Chinese food I wanna be able to say "I see Chinese people".
Great Restaurant & Fantastic Service

I was taken here on a date and found it very romantic (subdued color scheme and lighting). I didn't feel like I was in a cheesy chain restaurant. Our server was wonderful, attentive and funny! The Wild Alasken Sockeye Salmon Lemon Pepper was the best fish dish I've had in a long time. My date is allergic to gluten so we asked for their specialty menu and tried out the Flourless Chocolate Dome dessert - It was pure Heaven!
P.F. must mean "Poor Food"

This restaurant is EXTREMELY overrated. Basically this restaurant is Panda Express with an "Extreme Makeover". Same food, same taste. It just has better locations, better decor and higher prices. P.F.'s Orange Chicken, among other dishes, taste exactly like the dish served at 'Panda'. What a rip off.

This place is great. Besides this website I have not heard any negative comments about this chain. I've visited by myself, with dates and friends and do believe this to be an "adult" restaurant. I can think of a lot of places that could be worse. They must be doing something right because they recently started taking reservations because of the long wait. Try their Ma Po Tofu or lettuce wraps. Yumm!
- Pros: Service, Cleanliness, Atmosphere
- Cons: Price/value, crowded
