AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!
by Lostangeles at Citysearch
I have been to many a Ralph's in L.A. This is, without a doubt, the worst I have ever seen -- nay, even heard of! EVERYTHING about it is bad. Let's start with the parking. There isn't any. The lot is marginally adequate if you wanted to play basketball on it, but for the purposes of parking it is worthless. The entrance is about three feet wide and the door's track wasn't oiled, so immediate traffic jam of people occurred. Inside, the the place had too much stuff for too small a space; the isles are way to narrow, and there is NO ROOM for the carts to stack up in front of the registers, so the whole front isle of the store is blocked all the time. There is no logic to the arrangement of the items on the shelves (paper towles shelved separately from toilet paper, for example, never did find the TP), and to cap it off, very large numbers of items commonly found at Ralph's where, shall we say, nowhere to be found. Lastly, the advertised prices weren't reflected on our bill, i.e. "sale" items, weren't. The whole experience was like a trip to the DMV, except at the DMV they don't play bad pop music while they F you over.
- Pros: None.
- Cons: It stinks.
Bad Parking & Worse Staff!!!
by Lostwolf at Citysearch
Wow. This is not your typical Ralphs. It's a very small store with very limited parking. When you go, be prepared to wait around for a while for parking and then again when leaving. The store is small with limited selections compared to larger stores. They do have the basics but the varieties are limited. The worst part is the cashiers. Wow. Seriously, I have never been to a store where they treat the customers so bad. I have been in here about 10 different times in total over the course of about a year. Each and every time I get a cashier that is in a very bad mood, they rarely say hello, thank you or anything more than they need to, and I have NEVER had a smile on my cashier's face. EVER. Today I observed a cashier named Lynn screaming at another cashier and then pointing to customers in line yelling at them about where the line ended. Very angry. One customer made a comment that she was having day because she had to go to that store.
Advice: Stay away unless you need to go here. With Bristol Farms & Trader Joes locally, there is no need to feel like you are at the DMV.
- Pros: It's local and cheaper than Bristol Farms
- Cons: Bad parking, angry cashiers and limited selections

National grocery chain branch playfully dubbed by locals as the "real rock and roll Ralphs."
24 hour Ralphs

This store is a bit pricier than most other Ralphs. It's also smaller and have a relatively small selection of many things. The vegetables and fruit they have is nice, but not too varied. Eventhough it's within walking distance from my place I usually don't go here because of that.
On some days the parking lot is crowded with large Mercedes, Porches and such for whatever reason, so that's kinda fun. (If you are not ending up waiting in line to park, that is).
