Fantastic!

I love this restaurant! Great outdoor patio. Excellent service and the food was delicous. Especially love the gnocchi and the crab salad. Very good for large parties. Definitely try the Sunday night supper!
- Pros: Great patio, good food, excellent service
Hot singles scene
by tjffarms
The singles scene was entertaining for our family to watch and the ambiance is excellent. Too bad the food did not shine as well. Everything was good but nothing really stood out as being great. Servings were small. The bill for our family of four was $100 before tip. There is a definite attraction here for the singles crowd, where the food takes a back burner to the scene.
Great Food!

Try the Steak and Gnocchi -- they were fabulous! The service was great and we really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this place!
romantic

my gfriend and i hate here for valentine's day last night. it's nice, small and quaint. i wanted to sit out on the patio w/ everyone else but there were no seats available. thank goodness because after our dinner, i took a walk over to find the area very noisy. i prefer quiet settings for an intimate dinner w/ my gfriend.
at anyrate, the service was superb. our waitress was very attentive the whole evening. my gfriend enjoyed her "fish special" as i enjoyed my Marsala. The sauteed spinach was very delicious too. But to top off the night, their Chocolate Panna Cotta was heaven sent! one of the best deserts i've ever had. highly recommended dish.
- Pros: service, romantic, desert
- Cons: loud
An chic martini makeover rekindles this Italian restaurant to its Rat Pack past.

The Scene
Frank Sinatra, once a regular, would look right at home in this cozy boite, returned to its classy '50s-era origins. A restored tile floor wraps past burgundy booths and a dark wood bar, leading to the star garden perimeter. Beneath this outdoor patio's all-weather eaves, strings of glowing light bulbs stretch above vine-covered walls, a flickering brick hearth and three centerpiece olive trees--sweet scenery for romancing pairs and hip, young sets looking to lounge over a meal.
The Food
The floating scent of Parmesan is a rousing prelude to simply executed, Italian-American fare. Tenderly charred artichoke cups a melted-butter center for the signature, palate-cleansing start. Standard spaghetti with meatballs and filet mignon deliver hearty fare, while a mellow wine marinade coats the wood-grilled chicken breast, and the caper-topped whitefish piccata is creamy and well-cooked. Desserts du jour impress, especially the marble-plated trio of homemade gelatos like icy blood-orange and rich vanilla.
My New Favorite Place
by KayeJW
I work as a Concierge in Beverly Hills and had never even heard of Dominick's until my family came to town and my best friend suggested it for a special dinner. It was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The outdoor patio is gorgeous and airy despite being enclosed and warmed by fireplaces. The waitress (Jessie) was fantastic. The food was sublime. The check was surprisingly affordable. I am recommending this restaurant to all the guests at our hotel and I can't wait to go back for the $15 Sunday night special.
- Pros: Service, Food, Inexpnsive
- Cons: Parking
so romantic
by snoosiesue
Beautiful lighting, a stunning patio complete with outside bar, fireplace and extremely eclectic music - this redux is swell.
The service is attitude-free and very professional. Order the artichoke, arugula and parmesan salad and spagetti and meatballs! Don't forget to save room for the trio of home made gelato served on a slab of marble each adorned with a home made cone.
Best date place.
- Pros: great comfort food, truly nice service, great bars
- Cons: hard to find, no pizza
What a breath of Fresh Air
by stonehammer1111
Wow, I hadn't been to Dominick's in a while, I just found out they'd remodeled and it was wonderful. The old Dominick's had been a staple of mine but frankly I'd gotten tired of poor service and overpriced food, enter the NEW Dominick's. I don't know why no one ever changes the name of the place but whatever it was worth it.
The staff was friendly, The room is SO much nicer now, The patio is one of the best in town, sort of a Little Door, Les Deux Cafe feeling and the food, delicious!! steaks, pastas, risotto balls and a dessert that was so good I can't stop thinking about it.
Marscapone cheese, fresh strawberries, lavender honey and home made almond biscotti. mmmmm
I highly recommend revisiting this old standby, it's better than it's ever been, and quite a deal.
- Pros: Super romantic, inexpensive, no attitide
