It's a great fancy place to have a dinner party before hittin the Hollywood scene. I'd def go back if there was an occasion goin on.
Hum, really within special on the food

Hum, really within special on the food side. Was expecting more from omakase, sushi was very mediocre. Atmosphere is nice.
Best food in town
by celinedian123
Food is amazing. Every time I come here, I feel like I never want to leave. Very chic atmosphere with a relaxing mood.
The service is great and the staff really does a terrific job at taking care of you.
The appetizers are delicious.
Theres plenty of places to park: theres a parking lot across the street and a parkin garage up the street within walking distance.
Most of the time I find myself looking at my watch waiting for the food to come, but here I was so entertained with the fun atmosphere that I was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived
Revamped and much improved
by losangeleswoman
I always thought Sushi Roku was a "see and be seen" kind of place, and never found the food very memorable.
My mind was changed when I recently used the Blackboard Eats special and had a 4 course prix fixe menu dinner here. It was amazing. Every bite was delectable. Tuna three ways appetizer, salmon carpaccio with shaved truffles, their Sushi Ume dinner, and the Molten chocolate cake for dessert, plus a bottle of sake. I don't know what that dinner would normally cost, but it was a brilliant move because I loved every morsel and would absolutely go back.
Great food! Great people!

Went to this restaurant based on the recommendation of the concierge at Sofitel hotel. We were so pleased! The food was excellent and the service was even better. The seaweed salad was a large portion, they were completely willing to make me a custom roll, and the sushi was extremely fresh and reasonably priced. The ambiance is nice and not stuffy. Very comfortable.
This is a great find.
- Pros: Excellent service, fresh food
- Cons: non

Me my firends and my girlfriend went to this place a couple months back. heard some good things heard some bad things thought we'd try it out. this guy was sittin across from me givin me this disturbing look all night. freaked us out. me especially though. so we got the bill and the guy was like o no ill pay for it i laughed and was like sure. so we got crappy food and terible service for free.
- Pros: hot lady next to me
- Cons: just about everything was terrible
Way Overpriced
by Bobp
A tiny tofu miso soup costs $4. The quality of foods does not worth its price. Enough said.
- Pros: nice service
- Cons: over priced
Can't go wrong with old stand by
by kara nortman
Sushi Roku is an old stand by. If I am in beverly hills or santa monica and craving some yellowtail or Tuna Carpaccio, Sushi Roku is there for me.
- Pros: Good across the board
- Cons: With multiple locations, I guess its a chain
