Wonderful salon

I have gone to this salon twice now and have been extremely happy with my haircut. Jez, who is my hairstylist, and everyone in the salon is extremely friendly and excellent at what they do. Mia, who is a hairstylist in training, has been wonderful to me, and other clients, both times I have been there. This salon is highly recommended!

I called Fusion for some emergency hair surgery! I had my hair cut by one of those $20 first time client appointments, not thinking about those stylists doing these next client appointments are new stylists. Needless to say, he screwed my hair up royally!!!
I called Fusion and talked to Jez, and he got me in right away! He not only fixed the terrible job, but Jez gave me a great cut! I have continued getting my cuts from Jez and I always leave happy! Prices are also totally reasonable!
Parking in lot behing the rug store a few doors down!

For more than 20 years Jez has styled my hair edgy/classic and golden. Through those 20 years I have never recieved the same cut twice. He is a master at "making it new" and has an astute understanding of the haircut that should belong with my personality in whichever season of my life I happen to be in. His color work is impeccable, his cuts elegantly urbane, and his passion for what he does is inspiring.
Individuality is celebrated and flourishing at Fusion, allowing maximum artistry to occur. It is an overwhelmingly talented environment, harboring stylists that are each creative perfectionists. Not only are they gifted artists, each time I visit I view the Fusion family practicing small acts of kindness behind the scenes. Whether Talia is getting lunch for the group in her downtime, Matthew is giving heartfelt advice to a client, or Jez is encouraging the stylists to train each other on new cuts they've wanted to try, they are continously investing and contributing to their community.
To me, Fusion is not just unique because of the stylists unparalleled acumen in vogue, or their adeptness in avant-garde techniques, but because it is a place that works to balance individualism with espirit de corps -- and that is a very rare find indeed.

I have been Matthew 's client for almost 14 years, ever since he was in San Diego. Yes, I go to Hollywood - I'm worth it - and so is he. I have trusted him in going from very long to very short and everything in-between. He always listens to what I want, offers suggestions when I get too boring and keeps my hair healthy and my style current and fabulous! Matthew will be the on-site stylist for my daughters wedding in San Diego later this year. Of all the referrals we have sent his way - no one has ever been disappointed. Search no more and call him today!

First of all let juststart off by telling Curtis Thank You for saving my awful orange blonde hair,you my frind Curtis cutiepie saved my life and my audition which I got because of the color correction you did on my awful orange supposed to be blonde hair, You work your magic with my hair with your hands and that beautiful artist mind of yours and made me look like a naturall blonde it was the same color hair I had when I was like4,5,and 6 so nice and soft, never thought I would see this day come that I found my genie in a bottle and my wish was his command,genie is Curtis of course and my one wish was to have beautiful blonde hair and MY WISH DID COME TRUE and I LOVE IT, SO Thank you again Curtis your an amzing talent and person I cant wait to see you again I had so much funxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

i had someone cut my hair at charlton hair and she totally messed it up. I googled and found Jez at Fusion Hair. He is awsome, he gave me the best hair cut i ever had! I definately recommend him. I went back there a couple of more times and was always happy. Have to go again soon. Thumbs up for Jez! Thanks , you safed my day/haircut! Billy

Jez is such a pro, I was so impressed. What a miracle worker! He turned my nightmare, damaged, overly processed and brassy hair color into a sparkling natural looking blonde. The difference is astounding. Hard work, but Jez made it look so easy. He really took the time and energy to not only listen to what I wanted but to figure out what color would truly look great. Jez is so talented at styling. He was able to really get the most out of my curly hair. The atmosphere at Fusion is hip, yet friendly and wonderfully unpretentious. What a great experience! Highly recommended!

I've been in LA for three years and it wasn't until a month ago that I actually got not just what I wanted, but more. I walked out with a smile on my face and confidence rather than wanting to bury my head in the sand. Racheal actually listened to me when I said I was growing my hair out and instead of chopping it she gave it an amazing shape and her color is off the hook!!! She KNOWS how to tweak someones color and give highlights that ARE highlights and not those cheesy LA stripes everyone walks around with. Thank goodness for Racheal or else I would have to continue flying back to NYC just to get a hair cut.

Citysearch reviews guided me to this salon and I'm so glad I trusted my instinct. Jez, the British owner is fun, real, and passionate about his work. Besides doing a a stand up job on color with subtle and long lasting results, he has a real talent for optimizing your looks with amazing hair style suited to your personality and lifestyle. I have never received so many compliments about my haircuts. All my dates remark how much they love my hair and people who haven't seen me in a while are so impressed! My last haircut was so versatile there was literally three looks in one! Jez listens, he's precise, and genuinely cares about sending me out the door looking good. I also get a real genuine hug when he first sees me, and one when I'm on my way out the door... which makes me feel as good as I look. The atmosphere is hip with a European flair but not pretentious. Parking isn't bad if you leave a few extra minutes to look on the side streets,
- Pros: Nice vibe, music, reasonable prices, happy staff, not stuffy
- Cons: (minor) street parking in a busy neighborhood

I have tried so many salons, and finally! This is it! I was so pleased with my results, and I walked out feeling like a million bucks! Thanks Talia for giving me a killer haircut, and for hooking up my unruley eyebrows. I feel human again. Defenitly give fusion a shot. You won't regret it.
