Amazing Doctor with wonderful staff

Dr. Benjamin is an amazing doctor with wonderful staff, who could ask for more? I have worn glasses and contacts most of my life and when I had my consultation with Dr. Benjamin I couldn't have been more impressed. Since this procedure involved my eyes I wanted the best and believe me I found HIM. At the Benjamin Eye Institute they know their stuff from the doctor to all his staff, they make you feel at ease when making such a delicate decision. I went in for my procedure on a Tuesday evening and was up and at work the very next morning with no discomfort. When I went into his office for my next day follow-up appointment my vision was already 20/20, it was amazing!!! I am two weeks post procedure and things are only getting better. I would highly recommend Dr. Benjamin and his staff.

Best doctor, friendly staff, modern office!!!

I came in to see Dr. Benjamin with the problem of dry eyes... In modern world a lot of people have this problem due to spending a lot of time in front of the computers... A lot of my friends recommended me Dr. Benjamin and i decided to come to his office.... The first impression when i opened the door-was amazing modern light office with a very comfortable waiting room and big optical boutique! I was very surprised to find there my favourite designers frames!!! And at the end of my visit i got the pair of the beautiful Roberto Cavalli's sunglasses with the help of nice and helpful optician who has a great taste!! Anyways, let's talk about my experience.. So, the receptionist was very friendly and helped out to fill my paperwork, so i could get in really fast without waiting... Then i was taken to the examination room and Dr. Benjamin's assistant took my medical history, wrote down the symptoms and performed the necessary tests... Then I got to see Dr. Benjamin..- i must say that he is very experienced ophthalmologist and i could feel it from the first seconds of talking to him.... when i explained my problem of dry eyes and said that i am using artificial tears but they don't help much, he recommended me to put plugs into my tear ducts. As he explained that this non-surgical procedure allows your own tears to bathe your eye for a longer period of time...I decided to try.. And to my big surprise-this procedure took seconds and was completely painless!!! After that i don't have problems of dry eyes anymore and highly recommend plugs for everyone who experiences the same problem....And one more thing about Dr. Benjamin-he has a great personality and really cares about specific problems of each patient... Overall it was a great experience and i am always coming back to Dr. Benjamin's office with great pleasure!!

Amazing Service; Very Friendly Staff!

I did some research before visiting Dr. Benjamin's office. I wanted the best of the best to do my eye exam, and boy was I in for a treat. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, as were the assistants. When I saw the doctor, the exam was quick and painless. He was very nice and pleasant. He explained everything about my eye condition thoroughly, making sure not to miss anything important. He even showed me a video about it! I normally loathe going to the doctor's, but Dr. Benjamin was so friendly that I can't wait until my next appointment! I DEFINITELY recommend him to anybody looking for a great ophthalmologist!

GREAT DOCTOR and BEAUTIFUL OFFICE!

I saw Dr. Benjamin for an eye condition and I must say I was very impressed. He was very knowledable and took his time explaining everything to me. His office is top of the line he has state-of -the art equipment. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. His office stafff was helpful and friendly. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great eye doctor. The office is beatuiful and modern.

Not sure if I'll go back

I had high hopes for Dr. Benjamin - the office is very nice, and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. But after being taken into the back, I had one assistant do my intake and several tests and exams. I told her my symptoms very specifically. Then she dilated my eyes and said it would be a few minutes until I could have my next tests. Then I waited for about a half hour, then another assistant came in and did all the same tests again. Another half hour, and the same assistant came back and did the tests for a third time. Finally, 90 minutes after being taken into the room, the doctor finally arrived. After talking to me for five minutes, he determined I needed a different test based on my symptoms - the same symptoms I told the assistants. But that test can't be done with dilated eyes, so could I come back? He was very brusque. When I said I wanted the most accurate results possible, he said we should wait. I told him I didn't want to pay for another visit, so he said fine, we'll do the test. I asked him why they dilated my eyes earlier, and he barked "Until I come in you haven't seen a doctor." After the test he told me I had nothing wrong with my eyes. When I told him again of my symptoms he threw his hands up and said I should consult a neurologist. My appointment was at the end of the day, and he and the staff seemed really ready to go home. I was very put off by his demeanor. I need a doctor that is friendly and sympathetic, not aggressive and curt.

After shopping around and going on 3 consultations to different Lasik specialists, I 've decided to go with Dr. Arthur Benjamin, and made no mistake. I've had Lasik done by Dr.Benjamin and I can see the world without glasses. I love it, the dr. is very attentive and extremly knowledgeble. The office staff is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend the Benjamin Eye Institute to all my friends and anyone else in need of an awesome ophtholmologist and Lasik surgeon.

Wow, what a huge difference a short 15 minutes makes! During the procedure there was no pain, just slight pressure and the ticking of a bright red laser. Having spent so much of my life helpless without my glasses and inconvenienced by an expensive contacts routine -- suddenly I could see, and with minimal down-time. I was back at work the following day. This was an all around fantastic experience for me. Of course the skilled hand of Dr. Benjamin, the warmth and professionalism of his staff, and their state-of-the-art facilities had a lot to do with it. Thank you Dr. Benjamin for giving me my sight, and self confidence back.

Great doctor,great staff

I?ve always dreamed of getting rid off glasses and contact lenses. Glasses made it almost impossible for me to play tennis and contact lenses always made my eyes dry and irritated. I needed to do something about it. After reviewing Dr Benjamin?s credentials, I?ve decided to see him. From the minute I?ve walked into his office, I knew I was in the right place. Dr Benjamin?s office staff was wonderful, especially his assistant Lana and the surgical coordinator Jacolyn, who made me feel confident and at ease. Once I?ve met Dr Benjamin, I immediately liked his charismatic character and sincerity. Dr Benjamin answered all of my questions and reassured me that I?ve made the right decision. My LASIK surgery as well as the recovery process went exactly as planned. The results are great. This was a life-changing experience. I highly recommend Dr Benjamin for anyone who needs a great ophthalmologist. Thank you, Dr Benjamin!

He's the best!

I had a great experience with Dr. Benjamin. He did my LASIK in April '06 and I am extremely happy with my results. No more contacts...yay! I did a lot of research before I chose him. He made me feel really comfortable and I would strongly recommend him to anyone who is considering having LASIK done. His office is beautiful and modern too.
