Great BBQ Place!

The tri-tip, baby back ribs and BBQ chicken are just delicious! Once you have tried any of it, you can't forget the taste and go right back to it for more. I like their fast take out and get them after work to take home to enjoy. I'm so glad that it is in my neighborhood just down the street. I am a regular customer now.

Summer BBQ

This is a great place to go for BBQ Chicken or Ribs. They have all the BBQ side favorites, including hot corn bread. We love going year round.

Indifferent people behind the counter, a bit pricy for the amount of food you get, but plenty of choices as to how much you want. No servers to complicate things and you choose your own seating. WONDERFUL RIBS, the fish is always good (despite small portions), and the chicken cannot be beat. Horrible parking on weekends when apparantly everyone win the venice/culver city area needs to wash their cars nextdoor. Otherwise worth the drive or a stop if you are in the area or craving bbq without wanting to break out the grill yourself!

best bbq ive ever had

Outdoor Grill is hands down the best bbq food ive ever had. The meat is perfect and the bbq sauce is what makes it so great. Side dishes are great. It is a great place for catering and delivery. I have been to both the culver city and northridge and i leave very pleased.

Umm...Umm...UMM!!

Do you like good old fashioned BBQ? Well you will find it here. It is not esthetically located at the best crossroads, but that's what makes it very special! Located next to a car wash, you would not expect such good portions and great taste to come out of this joint! The baked beans are great. I usually go for the traditional chicken sandwich!!! I have driven from Orange County just to hit this spot! Thanks Noog for getting me hooked!

Mac and Cheese Heaven

The mac and cheese here is great. Even when I don't want BBQ, I come here for the mac and cheese. The bbq is decent, the sauce is WAY too sweet, but the actual meat is very tender.

The tri-tip and bbq fish items here are both very good. Bones in tri-tip? I've eaten here several times and i've never had any bones. They have a pit out front and it gives the meat a great flavor.

I tell them no sauce, because i'm Texan- I make my own. The sides are passable, but certainly not great. Overall, its a solid Texas style BBQ joint for LA.

If you want soul style BBQ joint, this ain't the place. Its perfect for takeout.

Nasty

I went to the one on Washington and was totally disappointed in the amount of food. WHen I took a bite of the meat it was tasteless and was mostly bone. THe side dishes were something like what you would get at a convenient store. Do not go here thinking it is great food.

Bland B-B-Q

The food is bland and cold. Portions are slim, more bone than meat. Only thing BBQ about the meal is that they put BBQ sauce on it. NOT the best BBQ in the area.

Carnivore Heaven

Im in heaven. Meat is my thing, and bbq, dont get me started. The Tri-tip sandwich is the best. The parking is small because of it location next to a carwash. So just kill two bird with one stone. I usually just put the car in for a great hand wash and have a sandwich too. Prices are reasonable and service is fast. You'll end up spending maybe $22-25 for the car wash and sandwich combo, good salads. (Depending on how you tip your car wash) Its a definate place to be if your ever in the Westside. A true West LA staple.
