Lux
143 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
"As hard as it was not to select Noni for its incredible lines and accessories, I really think Lux is one of the chicest stores I've been to lately. Especially considering how mini it is. The bags, shoes and jewelry designed by Jacquie Aiche are all super-cool, the price points are not totally insane, and the French staff is delightful. They had me at 'Bonjour.'" --Cadien Clark -
Larchmont Grill
5750 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA
"I remember when this place was The House, an old Scooter Kanfer project, so coming in I got a nice sense of deja vu. I also had the sense that the owners really care about their restaurant. From the personable service, dedication to seasonal menus and interesting wine list, I was impressed. Not all of our lunch items achieved excellence, but my pan-roasted trout was beautifully cooked and I loved the classic Italian panini. Afterward, they let me keep my car in the lot while exploring the neighborhood--and refridgerated my leftovers till I returned. That says a lot. And, no, they didn’t know we were from Citysearch." --Tara de Lis -
Cafe Du Village
139 1/2 N Larchmont Blvd, Los Angeles, CA
"When I first moved back to SoCal from a long stint in the Midwest, this was one of my go-to spots for Saturday morning breakfast. I still love the quaint charm of the place, even when the French guys are sounding off to one another and I can hardly make a move because the tables are crammed so closely. The eggs Florentine and blueberry pancakes are fabulous." -- Mar Yvette
